Bravo! You guys aced that border crossing! Good work - research and preparation sometimes really pay off. It was fun meeting up with you guys here in Siem Reap. Happy ongoing travels!!!
Wow!!!!! WOW guys!! I'm so impressed!!! You two sound like seasoned pros! So proud of you!
Cambodia sounds and looks amazing!! You two look great too! Steph, pic 5 is stunning!!
Missing you!
Love,
Shal
Food! My friend Buntan, from Cambodia and I were just enjoying your photos and he gave me a detailed description of the places you've been visiting. He says the deep-fried tarantulas are really yummy and you need to fully experience his country.
Keep having fun and enjoy t he fine weather.

done... already? So I opened up this window to read the full entry and saw it was pretty long. But then, I read it all thinking I missed something cuz it felt so short. I was like "the entry is done, already??"
And then, I was sad :(
I anxiously await your next entry! Miss u guys!
Good for you guys for riding with the locals instead of buying the tourist packages! The bus system sounds just as sketch as in was in Bolivia. There were no bus stops; people just flagged down buses as they came. So you guys are heading to Vietnam after Cambodia? Why are you flying? Is it just the distance or are flying over a dangerous area? Things are good here - we're getting visitors next week: Anne, Greg, Cathy, Emma and Sarah! Woooohoo! Love you and miss you tons, xoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxo
I love your blog!! Guys, I am just LOVING your travel blog, thank you soo much for sharing your trip with us. The writing is fantastic, I feel like I can picture what you are talking about, keep it up!! :)
How is the food?!?!?
That rabbies comment made me laugh out loud! I would be paranoid about that...and animals biting me. I can't believe you didn't scream when you saw that giant lizard. If i was there, oh, there'd be some screaming/screeching. Bangkok sounds really interesting and such a contrast from Singapore. Which one do you like more in terms of atmosphere? Love the blogs guys!
Agree OMG...I agree with chantal on this one...I was laughing all by myself in the computer room at work...kids were wondering what was going on. I can picture you guys just watching the giant lizard/swamp thing/monster walk by then the cat...then the old lady with the bike...kinda reminds me of the lady that couldn't get up that hill in Quebec, minus the creatures.
Anyways glad your having fun and your doing well
P.S Purple suits you Alexis ;)
Hillarious Oh man the lizard stories. I thought one would be the only in which you'd come in contact with, but i was wrong. It sounds like a friggin dragon all right.
poor kitty.. hope it didn't have a panic attick. I imagine it's entrance out of the water or whatever somewhat epic and slow motion and like hulk music in the backround as it's kind of showing it's shit you know? Just a vision i had in my head.
Sounds like Bangkok is a blast so far. And as for the architecture, looks and sounds amazing too! ...Alexis, appreciate it's tacky-ness, because in ottawa, the only gold leafed piece of history we have is a looney...
haha anyways, have fun guys, and be SAFE PLLLEASSSEE!!
(don't worry, you won't get rabies...)
have fun with your travel friends!
Love you,
Julian
XOXOXOX
Hey guys!!
Another great entry! On the way home, Chadi told me that you had written a new one and I just couldn't wait to turn on the computer and read it as quickly as possible :)
Bangkok sounds crazy and wonderful! I agree with you Alex about the architecture... definitely not my taste. I can appreciate the craftsmanship and ornate detail, but it's just not for me (I think mom has something to do with our tastes). Anyway, don't worry that 3 weeks have passed by already, you've got lots more time, just enjoy each moment.
Love you and miss you both!!

Another funny one Well, if exploring and enjoying new sights and sounds isn't enough, you will certainly have your share of hilarious moments. Glad you're sharing with us.
By the way, I'm sorry it's so hot and sticky there!!!
so much fun! Just like J.F. said - don't apologize about the long posts! The longer the post, the better! I wish they would never end. This is the best "book" I have read in a VERY long time. That's the thing about books (that aren't your "Introduction to Computer Networking" technical manuals) - they are supposed to take you out on an adventure. That's exactly what these posts do and I get excited, sad, happy and ecstatic with every post.
It's really cool - through your travels, I am beginning to thing about how little people like me, the unseasoned traveler, know about the world and how it REALLY works. I think your adventure is one of the most positive experiences anyone can have in their lives. It will enrich you, as a human being, as well as your soul. It will also enrich the people around you.
It's just a really beautiful thing. :)

Amazing stuff Don't apologize for long posts - love 'em. I don't comment, but I read 'em all.
Great stories and sounds like you guys are having great fun!
Be safe and enjoy!
Wow you guys! I'm still very jealous of your adventure, but mostly so excited for you guys! I come in to work every morning and the first thing I do is check if there is a new blog. And if like today, there happens to be one I spend WAY too much time reading it and checking out the pictures... not very productive. hihihi. Thanks for the great stories! Looking forward to more to come! Love you guys! xxxxx
Hey guys, I love how your blog and facebook complement each other! Last night I was looking at all your pictures on facebook and it was nice to read the story that goes along with them today. Last time it was the opposite. I read your blog first, and then say your pictures when you added them a few days later. When I saw the pictures, I was like 'ohhh, so this is what it looked like'. It's like reading a book and then seeing the movie!
Alexis, what's the deal with those jumping shots? Are they for real? It doesn't look physically possible to get so high off the ground! Is it some cool trick with the camera or are you a closet high-jumper?
Love you both! Have a great time in Bangkok!
Hilarious Ok guys I was just reading the entry when I got to the part of the lizards, I laughed out loud, laughed so much that I cried...I can just picture you guys trying to get it out...FUNNY
Keep on having fun
Miss u

yeay! It's great to hear from you guys!
Even if you're not thirsty - drink WATER - squirly's orders! It will hydrate you for the times you don't have water and it will flush your system that much faster if you happen to get sick. Water, water, water!
Not much happening here on the mainland - it was +7C with rain this morning and -18C with wind this evening. You are much better off overthere ;)
