My Bear was much bigger! Yep, looking at your photos I can, without fear of telling a untruth, say that my bear was a lot bigger. Yours was infinity cuter though. Good zipping though eh?
Comment on Ultimate Muay Thai Sitting here in Somerset I'm learning a lot from your travels and your blog. I particular valued the following insight ' it is not rare for children to fight even before they can properly converse'.......... so , Muay Thai, that's what you and your brothers were doing all those years ago!
That was a joke. Anyone who knows me knows that I'd never take so much as a paracetamol without a doctor's note. And if I did, I certainly wouldn't be stupid enough to write about it on the Internet...
old dear-new tricks so sorry taken this long to make the bloggy thinggy work. Think you boys are marvellously intrepid. In my day it was the magic bus to Greece and you thought you were going some.
The other 'intrepid one' is home on 02/03 and making 30 on 12/03. Looking forward to seeing you and the 2 who are 18, plus the strange cousin who lives in a big city down south.(possibly all in one room?)
Will keep perusing the blogwhatsit
love, your dear old Aunt
Pip Pip My my you gentlemen travellers of the world seem to be having a jolly old time. My only hope is that you uphold the traditions of the empire and wear only the finest harris tweed (plus fours if hot).
beaches Malaysian beaches aren't substandard, they're just not as nice on the west coast... u missed out on paradise by going to malaysia in december/january - the east coast is literally the best place in the world from may-october. oh well :P

Jon
Increadible 15 miles of shopping? What is that? Like 5 hours? I think that photo is actually of Louis' shopping (notice the convenient lack of face shot). Own up Louis only you could be so organised as to scout out 15 miles worth of shops prior to your swift infiltration. I remember our trip down Kensington High Street, I still have the blisters. Enjoy and don’t spend too much time taking photos of ‘impressive erections’ people might start wondering.
I love a bit of Tittiwangsa i've been slipping it into conversation as many times as possible tonight seeing as my Gran has just flown in for a couple of nights and i love the sepak tekraw - i recommend videos from the asian games if they can be found. word.

Well done Louis for getting lost (ish) in a similar manner to my lovely self! Ha...Sadly now you may be subjected to durians again, as there is no one to stop them travelling on the metro outside of Singapore... truly fascinating!
my observations Hi,
A very well written blog. A good balance of fact and humour. The only downside is that it was mentioned that Jamie had a drug conviction. This is taken very seriously in Singapore - in fact it is punishable by death! Remember drugs can kill - so take care and be sensible.
Regards,
James Felix
Merry Christmas!! Nice Blog, I think it may have been the first I've read all the way through. Well whilst some us are swanning off to foreign parts and having a jolly the rest are at home in the 'shire trying to get some coursework and revision done (and failing quite brilliantly I might add). Enjoy your travels and have a very unusual Christmas! How long are you out there for?
Rich.
What a charming lil episode babies... Remember you're big bears with big claws and they're just...just lil rabbits. And you can tear 'em to pieces with your claws. But you're just standing there with those big, vicious claws. Doing nothing with those claws. And they're just lil rabbits...
I'm sure a more appropriate moment will arise for the utilisation of that quote but it's been eating me up. Had to do it.
Also like the third person. Was that a conscious decision to distance oneself from the events of real life and gain perspective through the act of writing? Or whatever...
