Sounds like you're having fun! If you two aren't worn out and homesick by now I'm not sure if you ever will be! All the pictures are gorgeous and I'm sure the scenery is what is keeping you going, but just all your talks of hiking and walking everywhere seems exhausting! Glad you are enjoying your pilgrimage! :)

Birthday... Sounds as though you had a beautiful birthday celebration there in paradise! Is New Zealand ever beautiful! After experiencing all of that beauty, fun and adventure, I don't imagine that you're all that eager to come back home!!! Carpe diem!
Bungy Jumper :) Got your email, hope that you've received my other blog comments, and your happy birthday wishes on Facebook. Frank said to tell you that had you posted a photo of the infamous bungy jumper, he would have commented on your blog entry!!!
You are doing a great job on your blog entries and photos! Looks and sounds as though you are having the time of your life! Haven\'t been on your blog since before the weekend, and you have certainly been busy adventuring! And the scenery is absolutely beautiful! Frank\'s 25K race over in the Bankhead National Forest went well. He got first in time for the over 60 group - 2:38:50. The trail runs are a bit more challenging than road races. He ran over tree roots and rocks and through lots of mud!!! I hiked with a woman whose husband was also in the race while Frank ran. Went to a Mardi Gras party yesterday hosted by the retired nuns, Alice & Jean. They love to cook. The menu consisted of Shrimp Etouffee, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, Crawfish, Red Beans and Rice, Pasta Salad, French Bread, King Cake, and Wine Punch. These aren\'t your typical \"Sisters\"! They taught school on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for many years and love celebrating Mardi Gras with food and friends. Hope you continue enjoying yourselves. As they like to say in New Orleans: \"Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!\"
Wow!! Sounds as though you are really on an active journey...lots of walking and hiking! Hope you are really enjoying the views and can bring back many memories and pictures! Trying to catch up on reading the blogs...have more fun...all is well in MS!!
Fun! You two are having absolutely too much fun!!! Robin & Hugh's garden is so beautiful! And your friends with their own vineyard, how great is that?! Love viewing the photos. What a wonderful adventure you're having! Frank is running the Black Warrior 25K (15.6 miles) this Saturday. We've rented a cabin for the weekend and will also be doing some hiking in the Sipsey Wilderness. Keep enjoying yourselves - carpe diem!
Oh it looks so nice there! We had our first real cold day around here at 15 degrees F when we got up. Looks like the weather is being nice and you're having a ball! Keep it up! Will you be going to the south island at all? Mary Ann and Chuck
Thumbs Up Saw your comment, you are getting around the website, keep it up.
We hope to post some photos today, have had a hard time learning how to do it quickly.
Got it and we're excited for you! What would life be without a snafu on traveling. . . if all that happens is that the shuttle guy can't find you on arrival. . . you're doing great!! We'll keep checking!! Chuck
