Need instructions! Congratulations on your award - you're awesome! Hey, I'm trying to convince Tim NOT to bring his laptop to Italy - he wants to be able to download his pix from our cameras each day. Did you say you were loading them directly from your camera to your iPod? If so, how does that work??
I MISS YOU! Hey Honey.. Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I miss you and I can't wait to see you. It looks like your having the time of your life! Love you! Jenn
Lake Como In 2000 while we were in Italy we stayed at Grand Hotel Tremezzo on
Lake Como near Villa Carlotta which we also visited. Took the boat
ride on Lake Como. Had lunch at Villa D'Este and saw Marvin Hamlisch.
He married a girl from Col. that taught BT and Jarrett swim lessons.
You're having a great time!!! We fly to Col. on Thurs.
Thanks for the updates! I look forward to reading them. Hope you are having a great time and enjoying every second of it. Wish I could join you at some point but we know thats not gonna happen. :-) Continue to keep us updated and continue to show us what youre getting to see. It is beautiful there.

I was there too Hey Stacey:
I went to the same castle with my mom, step-dad and brother and took pictures in the same places you did! I was having flashbacks! Isn't it beautiful there!
Take care and have fun!
Lisa
Glad you are having fun! Hey Stacey:
Glad you made it to Lido to unwind by the beach. I just really liked the serenity of that town...it was a nice break from the larger cities. Did you see that gorgeous hotel there, the Excelsior i think it was called? Italy is amazing, there isn't a bad place there to see i don't think! You are really going to enjoy Lake Como...that was our first stop. I wish I could join you! Are you going to make it to Chinqeterra (sp?)...if so, make sure to stop at the 5th town for Pesto Lasagna...Pesto originated there. My family and I walked all 5 towns...what a workout, but gorgeous!
I miss you lots. Be safe, have fun...cherish every moment! Drink some red wine for me!
love ya, Lisa
See girly?? I KNEW you'd have a blast and love Europe. And here you were all fraidy-cat-esque.
If I had some money right now, I'd be over there with you in a HEARTBEAT. This chica needs a VACA!! :)
Love you and miss you and keep these blogs coming - they bring a smile to my face!!!
oxoxoxo Rach
My little Americana It sounds like you need at least 2 more weeks in Venice. You are going to return home, apparently Ohio, a new woman. So worldly and wise. I'm worried I won't be the cool one anymore...
Glad to know that you arrived safely. I asked BT Tues. am when we
spoke with him but he hadn't heard. Alittle later we received your
e-mail. Then I picked up Jan at the airport. She is here until this
Tues. am. Mon. noon is Maureen's 60th birthday luncheon. We have
been busy getting ready for that. July invits. are great. Jackie Schear
called when they received theirs. I liked your crying to get help. Sue
Hey girl! Glad to hear you made it. I hope the trip doesnt involve the need for more waterworks. But with your Disney training Im sure you can start it anytime you want. ;-) Anyway have fun. Cant wait to hear about all your amusing incounters...as Im sure there will be plenty.
Love
J
way to snag some help :) Batting the eyelashes would have done it. :)
So sorry the first day was a little rough!! I know the rest will be awesome...
Love,
Christi
YAY! Glad you are there. Now, enough of those water works (although very well-executed plan there getting your bags carried!)!! Have a blast and remember to take lots of pictures!! Get some rest!!
Love, Me
I want to see photos! Stace, You gotta post photographs of all the cool European people and sites you see. Also, watch out for celebrities. If you meet a celeb, please get an autograph just for me. Even better, if you meet a really tall, fit, blond, blue eyed, artsy, music guy, you gotta get his email address and phone number for me, or give him my myspace.com/nicolettefontaine website. XOXO Wish I was there travelling with you! Miss ya, Nicolette
Lido Hey Stacey:
I bet you are happy to be done with your project with school! Your crying ploy and plane experience were very funny!
I know I told you this before, but if you can try to get to LIDO...it isn't that hard, you just have to take 2 different boats...when you are there ask to be taken to the Excelsior (sp?) hotel...the beaches are beautiful there and shops, food, etc. are great. It is a step off the beaten path, so if you can get there I would highly recommend it! Be safe have fun!
Poor thing!! I'm sorry your initial experience in Europe was trying... you'll laugh about it later!!!
Another piece of advice... get a business card to the Hotel. This way if you get lost, just show the card to a taxi and they should be able to take you there. We were given this advice in Paris. Funny, while Terry and I were walking around, an American came up to us flashing his hotel card... too bad we were also lost Americans!!! ;-)
