your travel blog
Hi Bob: Sure enjoyed following thru on your travel blog. Glad you had a good time-conditions gave you some new snow every day. Luck was with you to stay for Friday when Christy let me know she had a cancellation. Guess you can tell that Twin Lakes works together. Thank you again for your time with us and hope you have more good times snowmobiling this year.

Crazy
I never said I was sane. I just love the outdoors and snow. The 35-45o wet weather in Chicago is the worst.

Cliffview
Bob, is the Cliffview the place we all stayed while Bryan, Bobby, Scott and Brett went to get the truck and car one year when the sled broke down. We were staying at Sunrise that year. It just looks so familiar? Hope you are having fun.

True Alaskan
Hi Howard, Last week I was checking air fares to Anchorage for this week. If they didn't get the snow here in the Keweenaw, I was seriously considering heading your way. Is there somewhere I can rent a snow machine near you if I come?

Have a great trip! I can't believe there is that much snow already! Stay warm!!!

You had plenty of good luck with adventures!
Most important was that you had a bear and cub awaiting your arrival back home - and they were just as cute!! Plus this will be something to look forward to on your next trip to Alaska!!

During every three day trip I do I look forward to getting home to read your blog and you certainly don't disappoint. Glad those bears didn't find you when you were changing your tire. Remember, always listen to the pilot.

Thanks and Keep Your Passions
I'm already dreaming about another helping--another adventure trip. I'm thinking about Central or South America.

Thanks and keep your passions
Thank you for sharing your adventure with me; both on the phone and through this travel blog. The world and, in particular, our country is a beautiful display of mother nature. And, somehow the people we meet in our travels are almost as wonderous. Glad to see your plate of passions is still full. Time folr another helping?

Wonderful Trip
Thanks, Jenny. I couldn't agree with you more. I really think I could do this trip every year.

Bear Pictures
I've also been told my snoring could attract bears. Something about a sow in heat.

Bear pictures
It was unfortunate the bears didn't appear when you were there. Could it be your snoring? It took me several snowmobile trips with you to adjust! It's funny how bears can look so cute, yet formidable at the same time.

Wonderful Trip
Hi Bob, I know the excitement I have been done those roads and several of the same places that you mentioned. I would do it every year if I could, as matter of fact, if I get the chance I am moving there, I love it, the people or different and all things seem to just go so much smoother than it does here in Texas. Wish you the best and read every word of your trip. Thanks for the memories. Jenny

Dad, I am so proud of you. It took a lot of courage to be able to go out and do this trip on your own. You've seen many parts of the world, but this one was really an adventure. Thanks for keeping the blogs while you were on the trip and hopefully you inspired a couple more people to go out and have their own journeys. Keep living the dream.
