Hi Paul,
There are lots of vegetarian restaurants here as there are a lot of Buddhists who are Vego. Can't beat the produce back home though. I will be at the farmers market ASAP when I get back!
Thoroughly enjoying all your reports. Sounds like you are really enjoying your time over there. Nothing much has changed in Noosa. Everyone complaining of the cold weather but I've just returned from two weeks in NSW where it was really cold and windy. When are you headed back to OZ? You must have been away about 9 months now. Cheers Helen
Thanks Sue, entertaining as always I am surprised there isn't a shop in town selling station wagon bikes. Thanks for the restaurant tips, seen both in passing, so a willing accomplice if you need one. Lv Gx
Still pondering that question lovey. I'm staying til the end of the year then I'll decide, I think. No rush ;-) hope life's treating you well....when are you coming to visit?
Oh Sue so disappointed for you - know you've wanted this for such a long time Think a solution would be (just a suggestion) when next visa expires in 3months leave Vietnam go back to Bangkok where you know the reputation of that 'foreigners hospital' It does good work and you get good results so book in for LASIK - if I am financial and mobile I will meet you there and get some work done too. Love ya - George
Great to hear your news Sue So pleased to read that you're enjoying your experience and you're wee pad looks great. I agree with the 'simplicity' aspect of your story. Having just moved to a much bigger house, I'm now finding myself writing out a huge shopping list of things I need to fill the 'spaces'.... arghh!
So glad that you're enjoying your work - you sound really settled.
Noosa's not quite the same without you and you are missed!!
Lots of love,
Clare xxx
Great blog (as usual) - so true about having a stress free life - "Live simply - simply to live"
Think the construction on the top of dune looks like a bunker of some sort; maybe gun turrets a lookout of some description left over from the Vietnam War (oops sorry the American War of Aggression as they call it in Hanoi)
Hello from NOOSA Hi Susie,

Nice one Sue
Hi Sue. Thanks for all the great blogs. How would a vegetarian fare in Vietnam?
