Arriving in Hanoi we were immediatly grabbed by a taxi driver, of course he scammed us blind and overcharged us big time. The only words he could apparently speak was "more more". we got rid of him pretty quick and learnt real fast. Ask his best price to destination, cut it in half and if he complains then walk away... there are a million taxi drivers available. When we got to our motel they were so distressed about us paying so much, much more distressed then we are but thats there way. Our first venture into the traffic was an eyeopener lol no rules, no lights, crossings are there but ignored, everyone just goes where they want.
