After a gruelling 12 hours on the plane and very little sleep finally made it into KL. Not the best place to chill and catch up with the jet lag. City is buzzing, busy, pretty big, dirty/smelly, buildings are massive with modern designs, cosmopolitan, but like any capital city pretty pricey in comparison and every one is a shark out to rip you off. Although public transport here is cheap, organized and air conditioned. London Underground bosses could learn a lot from these folk. If you are visiting take a ride on the monorail, great way to view the stunning architecture. Also get involved with the restaurants where the tables spill out onto the road. Great value and you can see all the "live" food they eat like eels and the such. Going up the KLCC
