spider web I know. I have great spider webs here on the dock and deck in the morning and NEVER can shoot it right - it was sooooo foggy that morning --- we could hardly see our hands; we were coming down from this craggy hill - very tough travel on foot - our group got so far ahead of us because I REALLY wanted to frame that shot - we were like old fogies - Wes and I were the last ones to catch up with the group. But, so worth it! Thanks for noticing. J.
Great photos Joanne - I always love your photos and updates, however, I am MOST impressed of the spider web shot! I have many times tried to get a great web - the lighting and dew never works! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Mark - We bought a great little book explaining the strategies of D Day to children - it is for our grandchildren to read; but so insightful for we big kids who didn't pay enought attention in history class. Thanks for the comments.
response What a great trip!Love the photos and of course the commentary(I dont know if I even spelled that right) Love to hear all about it when we see you...have, (or should I say...keep on having....) a wonderful time!....thanks for thinking of us to share your memories with...we really do appreciat it
I was just talking with my daughter today about her visit to Paris a few years ago (she went for a week all by herself) and she specifically mentioned the D'Orsay Museum as being one of her favorite sites. My husband, sister and I are planning a trip next fall, so I'm very interested in your impressions.
C'est moi! Bon jour, Helene, la photorgrapheur --- c'est moi! Merci pour votre "compliment." Now, if that isn't fractured French - nothing is; but I tried.
Best,
Joanne
"IMPRESSED" PUN INTENDED MONET IS MY FAVORITE AMONG THE IMPRESSIONISTS.....WHOEVER IS TAKING THESE PICTURES SHOULD SUBMIT TO HOME AND GARDEN..AN ART MAGAZINE OR SOME SUCH.....THEY ARE BREATHTAKING.....THE DETAIL IS OUTSTANDING. AGAIN, THANKS FOR SHARING AND HAVE FUN....HELENE
Ver Sales!!! I understand your confusion. We were surely confused when, on our first trip to the Lexington, KY area, we found out we were in Versailles - but were advised to call it Ver Sales! Thanks for the funny, Mark!
BIZET Hi Carol - you will love your tour - we were docked near the Bizet one day - it looks like a great boat - Circle has a wonderful reputation. Trying to organize our photos - would love to have you over for lunch to chat about the trip - don't think I would ever tire of talking about it. So glad you are going.
We are a couple, now in our early 70's, traveling in a 34" Holiday Vacationer Motor Home. Wes is a GE pensioner who just ended a 50 + year career, most recently consulting with the company. Joanne is a Public Relations specialist who runs her own "boutique" agency. Fall of 2015 began our 13th year keeping this travel blog. In the winter, we travel to and through Florida. We plan our route to include places of interest going to and fro and have included Williamsburg, Baltimore, Washington DC, St. Augustine, Savannah, Charlestown, Myrtle Beach, Florida's Pan Handle, New Orleans, Atlanta, Memph... full info
