cold in NZ Hey Lisa, it is pretty cool here in the winterless north; I think in the future heading to warm climes in June/July is the way to go for me!!
Wow, swimming and snow on the same trip!! You are very hardy souls!! I love the Abel Tasman/Marlborough area as well, I'm glad you made it there before your............departure??
Thailand A most enjoyable journal entry, and wonderful photos! Your adventures
are sounding much like our Indian trip----remember? Tan must have been
a great hostess; how fortunate for you. Define "Ladyboy" for me!!!!
Ya'll are having the adventure of a lifetime. So glad to see you. Timmy's Dad keeps asking when Dr. Shivers is coming back home. Isnt that so funny. We are preparing for the district swimmeet tonight in Tappahannock. I just finished a summer class. I will graduate with my masters in Dec. Just cant wait to finish. Maybe Greg can start his own practice and hire me in another year!!! Keep enjoying the fun. We are preparing for a trip to Alaska next year. Cant wait!!!
Hugs from Virginia, Dana
Shivers Visit ! Wonderful to read about all your adventures with Howand and Jean. The photos are great, and your journal superb ! I felt like I
was right there with you.

Iceholes! Hey Greg, did you go in the icehole? Looks like if you would have tripped you'd have been a goner! Speaking of iceholes, we almost named our hockey team, The Iceholes! Anyway, you guys look like you're reverse aging, maybe you've found the fountain of youth?
Your Novel Hey, seriously, you should consider turning these entries into a book. You obviously like to write and it could be a good travel guide for people heading to NZ.
We are moving to New Zealand in May for a year. Gregg is a hospitalist and will practice medicine in Timaru. Sydney, age 15, Graham, age 12, and John Avery, age 8, will attend school. Lisa is not sure yet what she will be doing! But we are really excited about this adventure!... full info
