Enjoying your pictures What a great opportunity this has been for you 2. Better than any guides tour, for sure. You have been blessed to be able to touch so many people's lives including me. Enjoy the remainder of your time down there. You both are missed.
Love, Fran
Magical Wow! Thanks, sis, for taking me along on this wonderul beautiful trip w/you, with your words and pictures! Still don't like being so far away from you, but love that you're letting us all experience the trip w/ya'll. Keep up the great work.
Landscape looks like Owyhee Canyon Thanks for the picture and the story. I enjoyed reading it! The rocks and water remind me of the Owyhee Canyonlands in Idaho. I am happy for your adventure. A bow to you, m'tae
Cool Shannon: Good to see you getting out -- thanks for sharing the photos. Beautiful areas. Enjoy the rest of your time there and know we are looking forward to your return. Jon
More thanks Doors of Life. Good title. And you are having many open doors into many different lives and life styles. I know you are enjoying yourself. You are, and probably Steve too, are real free spirits! Yet your whole desire is to make life maybe better, certainly for your young charges, to make their lives more understandable. All your counselling skills are put to great use!
Hello Shannon and Steve! So great to hear from you guys and of your experiences! It sounds like an amazing place. Look forward to keeping in touch with you guys. Take care,
Paris
Thank you for sending the updates. I could visualize the people you mentioned and can tell that they have come to appreciate your kindness, joy and sense of adventure as much as I do.
Doors When one door closes..WOW what an adventure for you.You make me feel part of it with this blog...you are indeed my first one!!!!Take care of you and that is an order...
love your photos I love your photos and updates, it is hard to imagine stepping off that cliff. the both of you are couragous. Keep up the good work and keep blogging.
Thank you Yes, I'm still being a boob wanting you closer so I can come see ya when I want cause I miss my sis, but still glad you're enjoying yourselves. Thank you for the lovely tour of Mendoza's inviting home doors! We should put more creative and inviting doors on our homes but I think we've become somewhat recluses and untrusting so some of us even put bars on our doors, sad but that's what our U.S. has come to. Anyway Alaska has been nothing but rainy and cool this whole summer so looks like you've had some nice days and met some great people, good for you! I love and miss you way much.
Enjoying your pictures You will have to give a slide show of all your pictures on your return. Happy that you are learning and enjoying the time in Argentina. Better than any book learning. Miss you.
In my thoughts and prayers.
Fran
Enjoying your blog Thankyou for the continued beautifully written updates. It's wonderful your sharing your experiences and be reminded of the important. What a lovely way to share with us all. Enjoying the pictures and captions.
Love and miss you, Tomi
Enjoy your blogs Just to let you know, how much I enjoy your blogs. Your pictures are great. Miss you and looking forward to see all your pictures on your return. You'll have to have a show. In my thoughts and prayers to both you and Steve.

Beautifully written and seems you are in your element lady! I hope you make a thousand memories over there. I am so happy for you! Janelle wishes her best as well. :-)
self growth You are experiencing such self growth and self knowledge while you are there. I know that such growth is very exhilerating, but also can be very unsettling. You are truly lucky to have this experience and have enough self awareness to be able to expand your spiritual as well as your mental growth. What a challenge and what growth. I think I envy you.
Thanks Thanks for the lovely post and pics. We love you and miss you! J's not writing back because she is grounded from the computer. I'll consider making an exception for her to write back to you : ) She did see the pics and got a good laugh. Love you.
Made me cry This was beautifully written, I miss you so much. Am glad you're learning so much about yourself and others and glad you're still enjoying yourselves! Still can't help being selfish and wishing you back soon so we can see eachother. I love all the pictures.
Made me cry I loved your last entry, it made me cry. I miss you so bad but am so glad you're learning so much about yourself and others. Beautifully written!
Thank you What an adventure! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and photos with us. We will be watching for more postings, as they come out. You're in our hearts! Kids say hi.
Wow! What an interesting adventure you are having! Thanks so much for this blog - I am looking forward to future messages.
I was a little late in answering this one, just finished the North American conference we have been working on for a year, it was great, worth the effort. I'd enjoy the Spanish classes, but know they wouldn't be easy! Nice to have people to speak it to/with! You are such a good writer!
Glad to hear from you. Your trip sounds terrific and fun. Only copy 3 of your pictures will
copy. I am sharing your blogs with Darrell. So far, not any changes, though Tammie will be your replacement. Finally getting a few more nurses so Shannon has help.
In my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Fran
What a treat! Dear Shannon and Steve,
I can't tell you how much I am enjoying you sharing your journey with the rest of us people who are here in the states, giving us the opportunity to see some of Argentina through your eyes. The pictures of the fountain and statues are beautiful, and it appears that art is part of the culture and appreciated by the people there. What a beautiful house you live in too!!
How is your Spanish coming along? Tell me about the food, how is it different from what you would eat here? (I'm always thinking about food and think I could eat my way around the world.)
Keep writing, you do such a good job. Again, thanks. I miss you too.
Love to you both,
Jan
My husband and I have now completed our Peace Corps service in Botswana, and are living in Boise, Idaho. I'm still learning that no matter where I travel, there I am with my perceptions in tow, but with each experience, I'm learning to let go and the burden becomes lighter.... full info
