Umm... Ok so I hope you know that your butt has officially been dubbed "oh butt that has touched surfaces which other famous butts have touched". And you know what that means...right? It MEANS...that when you come home i'll definitely be needing to sit on your butt...so that my butt can be dubbed "oh butt that has sat upon the butt that has touched surfaces which other famous butts have touched".
And so basically, the moral of this story is...get your butt home so I can sit on it.
Make sense now I get the fridge door now. This way there is no mistaking that you left the door open. It's either OPEN .. or closed. It prevents people from leaving it slightly adjar. Clever Italians!
Nice Fridge Not everything in Italy is better perhaps! Fridge doors for instance. Much easier to use hinges I should think. But I'm sure they have a reason for doing it that way. Maybe the hinges are mounted on the bottom of the door. It's hard to tell from the picture. Very clever. Or are you supposed to shove it back in like a cork??
Had similar thoughts of Florence I'm from Washington too, but I think this state does not exist in the minds of people outside of North America so I found saying "Seattle" (even though I live in Issaquah) made more sense.
I survived Florence traffic as well and lived to tell the tale. I thought about clotheslining a few times...
hahahaha. A little old man was listening to Paris Hilton? hahahaha. Woooooww. That made me laugh really hard. And I really enjoyed that the only thing you know how to say is "I have the hunger of a wolf!". I imagined your voice very well. You should have just said that to her. That would'a stumped her.
Oh, by the way, I didn't have to tell Mrs. Reed that you're in Italy. I went into class today and she was, "Courtney! You're going to Italy!" I was pretty amazed. But it wasn't magic, it was just Lindsey. haha. But she told Reed all about me going to visit you and stuff and you being all up in there right now.
Anywho, I love you! Jingle bitch! Do you remember that? I'm on a Friends kick again and I forgot that we used to call eachother that but I watched the episode where Pheobe sings about the Jingle Bitch. It made me miss you... even more. Okay bye!
Hello, from a fellow travelblogger! I'm going to be traveling to Italy in a month or two and was wondering if you could give me some advice on getting around. I want to see...well, everything...and thought that a train pass would be easiest. The only one I've seen offers just three days within two months - I'll be in Italy for a week and want to travel more than that! I'm also a student. Any advice? Email: travel_goddess@hotmail.co.uk
You really should fall into wells more often. It builds character and increases your cognitive abilities at an alarming rate. Before you know it you'll be ....well....CRAZY
hello V Great pictures V! I hear Sienna is a sort of Mecca for accordian playing cats. I understand that every summer they race around the square in some sort of festival. Strange.
But I guess any excuse for a festival! And they are Italian after all. Oh wait, ... maybe that was some sort of horse race. I'm not sure. Maybe they could combine the two. What a dandy festival that would be! I imagine the cats would be faster without their accordians, but that would make them a lot less musical obviously. Tradeoff. It's tough to run fast and play an accordian. That's what I always say.
It's like a photographers paradise. Seriously excited to take my own pictures. lol. I miss you a freaking lot.
And that picture of the grandma is my favorite. She's very cute.
I decided there is no title lakjdfal;ihgaljlajfad. That's me being jealous. That picture with the cheese and your comment made me laugh pretty hard. Jake would so poop his pants. So maybe it's a good thing he's not there. I'm pretty sure it would be unacceptable to the Italians to have him poop right there.
Didn't finish my last comment Anyway.....accidentally submitted before I meant to. You got the joke about the bums wearing Italian shoes? Ha Ha!!!!! I love the info about the olives and Olive oil. Keep writing....Your mom sure misses you!
Love, Karen
Italian Shoes.... Hey Vanessa,
Your mom told me I had to check you out. All chic and beautiful in front of the Italian backdrop. She's right! What an amazing experience you are having right now. So sorry about the "vomitus" experience of Rome. Here's my funny joke: You know the amazing thing about Italy is that even the bums and homeless people wear Italian shoes.
Hey, Gelato Girl! I'll bet that gelato tastes better in Italy!!! Are you going to learn how to make it while you're there? Your pictures are fabulous - keep up the good work!!!

Things are looking up! Way to go!! Leave plenty of upwars potential. Don't want to peak to early. Has your other bag shown up?? I've been calling Air France. Nice music when you are on hold, and friendly French people to say unknown things to you after you've waited the customery 30 minutes on hold. "Ze bag iz at ze otel monsieur" ... whatever that means. "Eat iz in ze RRRRRRum". Much R rolling but where the heck is the bag?
