BEAT them!! It may not be the most practical, but it sure sounds like fun...Schaaz vs. Euro-therapists...I bet they'd put it on pay per view. :o) Glad to see you got some new work and are keeping the Algonquin dancing/singing party tradition alive over there...ahh memories. Try not to get too bored, luv and if you do...there's always the Euro-therapists...
Do you guys have yahtzee?? Yahtzee is my favourite family game memories...if you haven't tried it, give it a go. That's too bad about your bar but maybe it's just the pesky universe telling you to move on. I wouldn't worry too much about being someone who "lives somewhere and doesn't take advantage"...this blog is proof of just the opposite. Damn economy is hitting you out there too huh? Brutal. Hang in there, I'm sure something will head your way.
Wow! Sounds like a hell of a night luv!! I think I said it earlier, but nothing beats a street party...especially a massive one. Sounds like you had an amazing New Year and most definitely a happy one. I'm so glad you're not just enjoying beautiful places but awesome people too. Wishing you all the best this year Wifey!!!
winter blues Well... your not alone feeling the effects of winter.. we're completely snowed in! Its saturday night and i'm watching a little playoff football but keeping warm none the less. I hope your well, and I miss you. Will talk soon :) Mark
Merry Christmas Merry Christmas Sarah!! I just finished work and am driving up to the Red Deer area to spend Christmas with friends. I'm told that there's plenty of food and drink, so looking forward to it.
It's been stinking cold for the past two weeks. It warmed up to -15C today, which is the first time that it's been above -20C in over 10 days. Lots of snow, so it's quite pretty. They're forecasting cold weather for another week. Ugh.
Cheers,
Sheilah
Yeah for Christmas!! I'm finally getting excited...been working lots. It sounds like you're gearing up for one kickass euro-Christmas and I couldn't be happier for you. Enjoy that Gin and have another for all us back home missing you. Merry, Merry Christmas Wifey!!!
AWWW Muffin!!! As much as I feel for you, I have to admit, the brevity and information contained in this entry did make me chuckle. Hope you've recovered, luv!
Best Wishes Schazz! You'll be pulling your hair out by the end of the night, no doubt, but I wanted to wish you well. I'm sure that you'll do great, and, as an actor, observe the drunken foolery that ensues. Scottish Drunken Idiots are, I'm sure, different to the Drunken Idiots we have here. I'm off to Halifax for holidays with Erynn and her family, so I'll wish you a Very Happy Christmas and Best wishes for the New Year, and Happy Hogsmony (sp?)!!
Da-rinking?! You should tell the girl that your disc of children's songs gets turned off after dinner service, and that if she wants to come out earlier in the day then she might know the words :) Happy Christmas Schazz, all the best in the New Year!
Workin' Girl Glad to see you'll have a family Christmas even though you're far away. Not so glad to see you giving bitchy, over made-up folks their pints but I guess someone's gotta do it. Seriously, glad you're working, I know money was becoming a worry. I guess no matter where you go, the REAL world always eventually sneaks up...I HATE that!! :o) Missing you Schaazy and loving you as you dish out that prickly Canadian sarcasm to George St.
Travel Am enjoying your remarks, stories andmany of your photos. Keep on doing well and have fun. Are you sure the Girl A is not the same one at the People's Park in HongKong? We also had a couple of those type in our carrier whom we left in Singapore for a flight back to home base.
Ehhn! Hey, just catching up on your blog. While there I questioned the farris wheel at first; although the full setup at night looks nice. Nice pics. Interesting read I must say, be careful with the quasi oriental stalker - sounds questionnable. Miss you..
Mark
Have you tried to sleep een ze lobby? Maybe find un schnouza (sp, i know) for zem to romp und play wit, jah? Or put zem on un zeppelin? And your right about Eastern Europeans. I have yet to meet anyone from around there who doesn't talk like they're yelling at the person that just ran over their foot.
Canucks 2, Scots 0 Well, looks like we can chalk another one up for the Canucks. We swim better IN cold water and skate better ON it....yeah for us!! These are the really cool times when you get to see how major holidays are celebrated differently. We'll be missing you here at home but I'm so stoked for you to go to Hogmanay. Street parties can't be beat. Good luck with sleepy girl, definitely sounds shady.
Festival Pictures Sounds like you had fun being cattle, and hopefully the strange girl is alright. I love the night photo's of all the lights and was wondering if a photo request could be made? I don't know whether your camera will allow you to do a timed exposure, but I think the Ferris wheel would look awesome if you could get a full rotation of it at night. It probably isn't the easiest thing to do, but I'm sure you could figure it out.
Heart strings being pulled...from Europe AWWWWWW! I hand-heart you guys too!! My pic idea turned out totally, disgustingly, cute....as desired :o) Many thanks. As for your tree hugging ways..this is NO surprise to your WIFE, so next time you see a good one, give it a squeeze for me. Loving you, Missing you!
granndma Loved the Buchanan tartan dress. NOt your style though. Have ordered some Buchanan stuff for Xmas gifts. Handwoven. HOpe you got the job Love, Grandma
Euro-Boo!! AWWWW MUFFIN!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say is boo and I love you and its over now. I hope you find the food-stealer and give them a good, Canadian, ass-whooping.
I'm with the camera! You gotta stop bitching about you're lovely little camera...it took some really nice ones here. It's got a lot of bad press on this little blog of yours...love the camera...BE the camera...and maybe it'll love you. :o) I'm loving the black and white stuff...and you're hunny's tush (hehe).
