The internet's great for lazy people. I'm departing the temperate shores of my home country, bound for the strange lands of the "Far East" for half a year. Fifteen years ago, that would have meant almost no contact with my loved ones during that time, save the letters and postcards I'd be furiously scribbling out during my spare moments.
