Thanks For Promoting Khao Lak I've been here for many months and its good to read a blog that isn't bashing Khao Lak for its destruction, but being positive in its rebirth. Phuket travel agencies and their government has done everything possible to keep people from returning to Khao Lak. They want all the tourist baht (dollars) to themselves. Khao Lak is alive and well. If we promote it too much, though, it may become the sh*thole that Patong beach has become. You won't find go-go bars, hookers, pesty vendors, drug dealers or the mafia in Khao Lak. Thanks again for all your work here. And spread the word that "Khao Lak is the Phoenix of Thailand"
