Thanks for the journey! Your trip has been inspiring and amazing, educating and beautiful, touching and funny. It has been a pleasure to follow you around the world and a great escape from our daily routine.......
We almost had as good a time as you two appear to have had!
Happy New Year and welcome back!!!!!
Hope to see you son.
Yannis, xxxx

Thank you and Happy New year to you two too! I want to thank you to have given me the opportunity to follow your trip. For a person that works at home and will probably never have the possibility to make any trips, it was a great enlightment. I have been looking forward to all your new entries and have read them faithfully. Great pictures and a lot of fun to read. Thank you and Happy New Year!
wow WOW! I am so jealous- your trip was such a wonderful escape- a lot of things that I only get to read about : (
I just wanted to wish you BON VOYAGE for the trip home and a wonderful holiday. I also want to wish Annams best of luck for her defense. I am in Montreal and I miss you both xoxo Z
About your experience. Dear Sir/Madam,
It has been my pleasure and an honor to visit this forum and look at the pictures and the stories people such as yourself are showing and telling about my Country of birth and origin.
By no choice of mine, during my teenage years, I was brought to the U.S. and have been here for the past 28 years.
And have never had the opportunity to leave and visit my birthplace.
Thank you for visiting Iran and sharing your travel experiences with us and as an Iranian Zoroastrian, I do apologize for any discomfort you may have experienced.
You see, we are famous for our hospitality.
Regards.
A +
hi hi as an iranian who doesnt live in Iran, I welcome you to my beautiful country. I have lots of friends specially in Tehran who fortunately know english , so if you need any help or even an adress just drop me a line and i will reach you ASAP. Enjoy and say my hello to my much-loved counry. cheers
Greeks in Tashkent Spyros: we didn't meet any Greeks in Tashkent. There must still be some of them living there, but we've been told that a lot of foreigners left the city in the last years because it's more and more difficult to find jobs here. Filia to the whole family!
Hello from teaneck Dear Annamaria and Sylvan. I enjoy your journals. Assuming that you will visit Taskent, I wonder whether there are any Greeks still there? The Russians moved them there after the communists were forced to leave Greece in about 1947? Regarding us we are doing good. Little Anna ( 7 months old) visited us last weekend. She very sweet and very alert. Love Spyros
I am amused :-) Thanks for your comments... I am very amused Patrik... i don't know what you see! May be I should shave one day? What do you think? Evelyne: We have no clue what you have written in Russian... our Russian is very poor and doesn't improve because we are now learning uzbek!
Someone has an idea about the nature of this white animal???
silvan
"Shastlivogo puti i vsego choroschego". Zeluu vas i do skorogo! Evelyne
Silvan- looks great on last picture Hi there. As mentioned in titel. Silvan you look "not very amused" on the last pic you guys pubished. But again, the pics look absolutly fabulous and motivats to see it in reality! Where again ist Kyrgyzstan? Close to US and A? Sorry that was Kazakhstan. que se vayan bien! Saludos de Zurich
Always a pleasure to read you and to see pictures. Thank you very much for that splendid idea of sending these journals. I am learning throught your travels. Very interesting. I am happy your are having a good time, please be careful.
Dear friend , It seems that the problems you experienced in Mashhad was purely due to your lack of knowledge and the fault of the Kyrgyz official in Mashhad. I am sure your treatment in Iran was much better than my treatment in the US by the US immigration a few years ago. Please be prepared next time you go to Iran and do not think about travelling to the USA, because you may end up in a police cell like myself for weeks without anybody knowing. You see after all Iran is much better.
Regards
Amir.
From Turkey to Thailand we will be traveling 5 months and we created this blog to give you the opportunity to follow us on this trip. We will try to update it regularly!... full info
