Day 003, Monday June 20 The blisters have amalgamated into one single conglomerate, they're organized, they've even got their own ministry now, making ludicrous demands such as "for the love of god stop walking!" I oblige, and am now sitting on a train bound for Salisbury, and have just finished writing some post cards which will likly arrive home shortly after I do. The reason for this (the blisters, not the post) isn't due to aloyudback tracking, rather simple biological mechanics anyone who walks around town for 12 hours straight would be lucky to be still in posession of their feet. But I'll still severly miss London, 2 days is not enough time to see everything, but we most definately made the most of it, and finished off with a giant plate of the best fish ... read more

First thoughts, no different than Toronto, except everyone sounds smarter and more sophisticated when they speak to you. Then there's the whole everyday is opposite day thing where everyone drives on the opposite side of the road, you can tell the tourists cause they all walk on the wrong side when trying to pass someone on the sidewalk. You know, that dreaded moment when you are face to face with another human walking in opposed directions on a sidewalk that's too small, your eyes lock and you know you'll have to choose a side once you two meet, and you know you can't simply rely on the others intuition to move to the right while passing, as such, you choose to go off body language, unfortunately so does he, and you end up engaged in this awkward ... read more
