The Background for the Mongolian Mission: Spring 2004: While sleeping at a minister's home in Columbus, Georgia I had a dream that I was a chaplain in "West Mongolia, Africa." Summer 2005: I'm trained as a missionary for three months in North Africa under the supervision of a marine core major, a graduate from Top Gun, and employee from the Pentagon while living in a city of 167,000 Arab Muslims and thirteen Christians. Summer 2006: I worked with street orphans and war refugees in East Africa. A college student named Dusty, who I had only met once, asked to join me and I agreed.
