Hope you had fun Hi Roxy,
I stumbled across your blog when I was looking for something else, but I'm from Cork city and would just like to say I'm glad you had a good time around here. You're welcome back any time.
Nice photos...I've a bunch from a trip we took to Sherkin here if you wanna see (http://rennes.ucc.ie/~stephenf/photos/Sherkin_Island/index.html). You can ignore the daft ones! More random photos from me from around Cork here too (www.image-shop.com). you might spot some places you've been to. There's even a photo or 2 from Philly too!

Hey! I was wondering if you were still around. NY is a cool place, I've been up there a couple times. Sounds like you had a blast. Call me! I might be in your neck of the woods soon.
WOW!!! Love this, please send it to Gene, it will make him as jealous as I am of your photography skills--beautiful stuff, and i'm not just saying that to be your friend ;)
Wonderful travels roxy, have you considered perhaps writing for the travel channel? I would love to hear more of your stories....hopefully I can speak with you soon.... Billy
waz up yooo rox...we're glad to have you back here with the rest of the dysfunctional crew...we were lost without you.cant believe u are so smart love u
where did she go? wow i just had a look at a map of where youve been, that is so far away..
how are we even supposed to spy on your whereabouts if you dont travel blog for us rox..
last thing saw you leaving ireland maybe for holland maybe for home, talk about leaving us hanging. atleast turn your phone back on so we can track ya by GPS!
Animal Soup Love the animal pics, Buffalo tastes really good and makes great Teepees. I thought all of the animals are green in Ireland, that's how they survived extinction from the Ice Age and Neolithic Man, by being camoflaged in the verdant Irish countryside. I have a Peacock living next to me and I wish he was like a mobile/wireless phone so could change his ringtone to a more gentle sound at daybreak!
Honestly, don't worry about it you aren't missing to much by never going camping, in my opinion, anyhow--for me, camping sucks: I hate sleeping with nothing but a glorified tarp keeping me safe from evil bugs carrying the West Nile virus, starving bears and deers, and the hard rocky ground beneath me. Not to mention substandard showering/bathroom facilities. Maybe its different in Ireland, I don't know. What are you up to? I miss your blogs! Love ya, Jeanine - Jeanine
What up?!? Thanks for clearing that up, the whole, what is "Cinco de Mayo" thing--me and Lora were arguing about it, and both of us were wrong. Will tell you more later--I'm drinking and watching "Singles" right now. - Jeanine
I really like your "smell journal". . . I just re-read your entry for the 2nd time; it's so interesting how words can evoke a memory of such primal sense, how it can make you virtually hallucinate a feeling. . . .write more for your curious readers!!! - Jeanine
haha, sounds good to me, a good desciption. reminds me of the smell of freshly cut hay on a dewy morning, some smells are just so good and hard to remember till you smell them again. - ranskye
I love the pics Hey the pics you took were so gorgeous. I wish I was in Ireland instead of doing a report on it for school.
loved your pics,
*Sarah M* - Sarah Mann
a small request. from you rather perverse & morbid friend. . . i seriously love your pictures, but i'd love to see you take some of some of the people over there, especially some shady or freaky people . . that'd really be cool to see for me. - jeanine
Wow Looks like a great place to run. . . I myself have to settle for the "cardio theater" at the 12th Street Gym. . . however, I do get the added bonus of working out with my buff gay brothers in the weight room--which is kind of nice, because all the guys there are so intense but so polite!!!! - jeanine
HI ROXANNE Hey Roxanne,
Looks like a lot of fun--I'm never sure if I like the feeling of vertigo or don't like it, so I'm not sure if I'd do it or not. . . on one hand, I like feeling like I'm going to fall, but on the other hand, that's exactly what I'm always having nightmares about. . . that's probably what partially makes the Blarney Stone experience such a psychic rush, now that I think about it. . . I really hope you are having a great and memorable time on your trip. Things here are ok for me--as usual, i have a love-hate relationship w/ my job and am dabbling with a wide variety of "self-improvement" projects, half of which will be abandoned next week. I'm at Gene's right now; we're just going to have pizza and wine and maybe watch a movie. Keep me updated visually and otherwise w/ what's going on with your life in Ireland!!! Love Jeanine - Jeanine
