These photos are breathtaking images..........and I am not simply referring to Lorieta. It gives you a sense of "awesomeness", timelessness and peace. You capture it so well and yet , it transcends the camera lens. Thank you so much for sharing this incredible journey. I love to do "virtually" travel with you two each day or two.
This is fabulous and I do not know if your svengali like power of persuasion or your writing or your photography is most impressive.....you have it all. Thanks for yet another wondrous account Roger.
Thanks Roger for the continuing story unfolding to yet again show us what Svenagli-like persuasive powers you and Lorieta possess. The photos are beautiful, the write up also ....and I think I will stare at the blue skies for 20-30mins a day to resist any S.A.D.-ness:)
Wow! As we feel the Fall chill in the air,it is so wonderful to live vicariously through our favourite travel bloggers:) Thanks so much for sharing what gives us a smile for today and eager anticipation for the days to come and "Can Lorieta be more beautiful!" Beautiful write up and photos Roger...Way to go!
Thanks so much for sharing
Wow! Roger, thanks for the beautiful photos and wonderful description. Like you, it has been years since I went to Hopewell Rocks and I see it is time to revisit this gorgeous natural wonder.
Wish we were there to share the beauty...pictures are awesome, as usual...hope you're both having a great time...sure looks like you are. Take care...looking forward to next installment.
The way you describe the day, the lush vegetation and exotic parks amidst the mountains and your leisurely tours , gives a sense of beauty and peace ...........to be revisited again and again.
The photos are so exquisite. Thank you for sharing this peaceful time and place.........
This is another fantastic blog extravaganza of delights for the eye, the ear, the pocket.......... Thanks for treating us to another fabulous trip around Hawaii my friends. The photos , the stories..........we love them all.
What a simply delightful trip down the less travelled path. Thanks for this leisurely adventure which feels as if we were there included in the conversation . I even have the urge to test my blood sugars after endulging in the dessert of Apple Bananas. I can just imagine you both being inducted into the community - of course that is a universal truth . The photos are fabulous and at last both of you are smiling :)
Thank you for another beautiful , relaxing and educational day which add a whole new dimension to our image of Hawaii.
Maloha and aloha my friend:)
Oh my goodness, these photos are fantastic. As we see Lorieta in her travels , you can almost hear the souns, feel the air and the warmth . The panoramic view also gives you the sights and sounds ..........so amazing. No wonder people love to go there. Why does the guy in photo 33 look so serious, is he in an undercover operation?????
Ach! There you are Roger! It is like playing "Where is Waldo " trying to find you in a myriad of photos :) You look great- not as pretty as the lovely Lorieta but you look wonderful nonetheless!
My goodness, these photos are extraordinary Roger, It is amazing that when I look at the dazzling beauty of that model who caught your eye a couple of times ( and I think she has a thing for you by the way), and fabulous colours and images, the most striking is the blue skies , the vibrant flowers and the condition of the streets and buildings. It must be that I have been watching such ravages from the snow and ice here but the buildings look new, the roads look newly paved and everyone looks so happy- like the elected party on May 3rd. I love the commentary and the photos - and thank you for sharing your day again.
I overlooked this beauty the last time I looked..........that is why I love your blog Roger, because I can keep coming back and seeing something ( or some one ) fresh or afresh:)
Beauty, beauty beautiful !Thank you so much,
Mahalo Roger and Lorieta for this incredible journey today! I loved our travels and what amazing debth there is to this place - more than ever I realied. Your photos are exceptional but I also love your description and tale of travel. Thanks for my "virtual" guided tour yet again. I am quite enjoying "my" trip and tours and now have a sudden urge for Tuna Poke (POH- Kay) and a lie down. My legs feel tired and I am sleepy ......it is from all that virtual walking ! lol
Mahalo and Aloha my friends.
Joanie :)
Wish I was There Too Dear Roger and Lorieta;
The pictures are beautiful and show how much the two of you are in Love!!!Miss you both!!Hugs and Kisses!!!
What a fantastic Blog! Hi again,
I am so enjoying my virtual vacation and actually think I am getting a little colour from it. The photo of people "working out" in the park reminds me of Lorieta and I and our days of Boot Camp! Is it bad that I am drooling over even the green grass?? The Banyon tree is fascinating and so unusual - but of course all of it is.
Your photographs are amazing and your choice of location is awesome too...........I cannot imagine you have only been gone a year..it seems so much more !!
I just love your blog and it really is effective at lifting the spirit.
Thank you so much for sharing ...................I wait with baited breath.................
I can see why it is called Paradise Park! Thanks so much for sharing these beautiful images of nature at its finest. It reminds me of the story of the Garden of Eden............how awesome! - just like my friends Roger and Lorieta:)
