fredpstaff@yahoo.com What a surprise to see a story about me. It was a very enjoyable get together and I only wish that they had contacted me for Thanksgiving. I had two boxes of stuffing that I would have been more than happy to share. I have finishe the book that I was talking to the boys about and it will be out on Amazon on or about the first week of May. It is now on Kindle. I am getting it translated now and soon it will be in Spanish for the market here.
I would like the boys to get in touch with me. I really appreciate being called a gentleman.
I hope the meat plan flight went well. If you would have asked I would have told you that when they get loaded, with meat, that they have a hard time making the airport in La Paz. My telephone number is 442 1234{this is no joke} and my e mail is fredpstaff@yahoo,com
Unreal Pix Just now being able to view your pictures that you said you sent about a week ago. What an incredible mix of animals that was! I'm lovin' that Watson bird, the look on its face just cracks me up. What is that thing? And that hamster looking thing, what in the world? How does that survive, the one wading in the water by itself? Jeez! The only crocodile I have ever seen live were at the zoo, and that boat you were in, that was so risky, what are you thinking? Breat pictures of the piranha, before and after...I love that welcome sign, you may need to hang that up on the wall too! Very cool! John's picture with the guppy is hilarious! Be well, be smart. Love Dad.
FOotball Yes! they have the Sunday night game on and the monday night game on but its in spanish but were still all shocked that were actually
watching football. ITs spring! here huge celebrations and Im going to Santa Cruz tommorow then going to La PAz to meet up with John. SUpposedly were taking some meat plane literally plane that transports meat and will charge us by how much we weigh. The meat planes going to take us up north some to Parke Medidi which is like the best national park in Bolivia. Costing me like 200 dollars..
hope its worth it nice to hear everythings well hope grandma gets better.
North American Football? I honestly didn't know what you meant when you stated that in your blog until I read further. I just never thought of myself as a North American. Well, I am glad you take it easy on Sundays along with everyone else, it is supposed to be a day of rest. Why would they show football in Bolivia? How many people really care over there? Anyway, your 2-0 Bucs play the 2-0 Steelers in RJ Stadium this Sunday. Rothlesberger has been suspended so he wont be playing, so the Bucs have a chance to go 3-0 to start the season! Things are pretty uneventful here, I am working Friday night on the crap table in Riverside, with Aunt Yvonne, and Uncle Ron and his brothers, haven't dealt much lately so I m looking forward to it and the extra money helps. Baseball is winding down over here and the World Series starts later next month. St Martin's is having their church carnival this weekend and your mom and I are both volunteering our time this weekend there. Grandma "blew out" her knee and has been hobbled by her injury, but is going to be OK. They no longer are serving chili dogs at the clubhouse on MNF, so that has really bummed Uncle Michael and I out. Uncle Michael had a birthday as did Sarah and Riannon will have one on Sept. 25th. I think Uncle Michael said she was in Alabama. Willie is done, a little earlier than usual, he has dug a deep deep hole along the side of the house and hasn't been seen for a week. I'll try and keep him dry when the rains come. Full moon tonight and it was 67 degrees at 7:15 pm tonight, just perfect. Is it Fall for you over there? When do you go on your church/cathedral tour? Hope you are doing well, still would like to "skype" with you one day soon. I have been giving my students updates on your adventures and they love it. Be safe and be well, sounds like you got rid of your amoebas, be carefull what you eat. Love Dad.
Amoebas??? Amoebas, different from parasites, which come in the form of worms, are tiny microscopic organisms that live in the intestines, causing diarrhea with blood and other intestinal problems.
Symptoms: Often involve fever and diarrhea, which are frequently accompanied with blood and/or mucous, with a discharge and an urge to have a bowel movement, as well as intestinal inflammation. Sometimes pains occur in the form of colic and stomach cramps with the constant need to go to the bathroom.
Causes:Direct contact and transmission of the microorganisms through contaminated water and food.
Website says to take a lot of vitamins such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E and a multi-vitamin.
I am glad you went to the doctor and I hope they gave you some medications. I am sure the "Calle" burgers did you in! The problem is you can't see these micro-organism, so it is best not to eat anything off the street. It is for that reason you never saw me eat any street tacos in Mexico! It presume that would be the last food item you would eat off the street. And yes, I 'm glad it is not malaria.
Great picture of you and president! There must be a way to "airbrush" that older woman out of the picture! That would be something I would hang on the wall and you don't hear me say that very often.
I fear that you are sending your body into trauma by mixing drinks, overindulging in alcohol, hangovers, ecoli viruses, and now amoebas, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, headaches, altitude, wanting to pass out, etc. Start taking better care of yourself.
Loved what you said about the presidential party and the music. Not sure how you "shred" on a charango, but by the way you described it, it sounded wonderful. And your right, after meeting the country's president there was nothing else you could do to top that, so call it a day, a great day and turn in.
Loved your Rolling Stones references, their music and lyrics have stood the test of time and have bridged generations, although anytime I hear the song "Wild Horses" I think of Uncle Ronny who always interjects that that is his least favorite "Stones" song.
I actually had a a dream the other night that you were back from your trip and I was talking to you upstairs about music and was saddened when I realized it was only a dream. Miss you a lot and we still worry about your safety, because it seems you are taking more risks lately than usual. Maybe because you are feeling more comfortable with your surroundings. Be wise, be safe and trust no one. - Dad
Your Family in Bolivia RJ:
Very cool Glad moms going out kind of and Yes I understand the eerieness of an empty house as when my family leaves for the nights here An unfamiliar house in a foreign country I would say is worse. Theres noises I never heard before or maybe just never paid attention to before. Check out my latest blog entry was way intense
Hay now! Hope your knee injury is not too serious. A lot of great basketball players have had their careers shortened by knee injuries. You probably weren't aware that Monday, Labor Day,was a holiday for us, which was nice after starting school last week. Grandma and Grandpa had a Bar- B-Que at their house over the weekend. They are doing well, and we talk about you a lot and your adventures. Mom left yesterday to take her mom and her sister, Rosie, to Las Vegas until Thursday, so I am alone until then. It's kinda eerie being alone in the house, it just doesn't happen very often. Hope John's mom made it out there safely and was mable to get transportation to her final destination. That football was given to me by a student about five years ago, I asked him to autograph it for me, thus the name Chad Walker is written on it, take care of that football, it's a good one. I laughed when I saw that it was a "Wilson", as it reminded me of that Tom Hanks movie...Do Bolivianos even know what American football is?? Willie is slowing down and digging a deep hole on the side of the house, he is eating less and less each day, preparing for his hibernation next month. Although it has not been too hot, we are experiencing cooler days and nights here. With football starting up, it really is feeling like Fall, which I love. Uncle Michael and I will probably go to the "Lake" and get a chili dog on Monday, the first Monday Night Football game of the season. Hope you are doing well, stay healthy, give your liver a break, and make wise decisions, trust no one. Let us know how your DJ gig works out. Miss you, think about you every day, Love Dad.
Just in case you didn't know, we Americans celebrated Labor Day, a holiday, so no one had to work. It was nice to have a three day weekend after starting school last week. Nice "Animals" reference, didn't think you had that one in you. Willie is digging his hole deeper than ever and is not eating so much lately, he is getting ready for his hibernation next month (Halloween). Mom took here mom and sister to Las Vegas for a few days, so I am here alone until Thursday. I hope John's mom arrived safely and was able to get to her final destination without too much trouble. That football was given to me by a student of mine about 5 years ago, its a good football so take care of it. Do they even know what American football is over there? Like I mentioned my team this year is the Jets and they play the Ravens this weekend. Tough match-up. Uncle Michael and I will probably go to the lake for chili dogs for Monday Night Football. Not really much going on over here in YL, Uncle Ron and his family are going to Hawaii on Thursday for vacation, the girls, he said, are excited. We are thinking of going to Las Vegas for Halloween, which would be a first, Hollywood last year was a blast. Hope you knee injury is not serious. take care for now, miss you a lot!...Love Dad.

DJ RJ: just let things happen. Everything you do is a growing experience. Maybe you going on TV is part of this experience. I think it can be lots of fun for you because you really enjoy DJing. This experience can only be what you let it be. So, go with the flow and you will always have control of letting it just go or stopping it when you find you have to cut it short because you are no longer enjoying it. Don't cut yourself short of an experience you might thoroughly enjoy doing. This might be a calling!
You shouldn't feel down! Your doing something really awesome and courageous, I'm mean who goes to a country and has no idea how to speak the language? To me that's pretty brave! Keep on having fun! But don't kill so many brain cells with all that alcohol! Ha! Um yeah I'll call u, gotta call my dad too, so I'll kill two birds with one stone!
