We are down to a reality check now. When my husband and I began planning this trip a year ago I thought a walk across England would be quite nice, just a lovely stroll. We chose the leisure pace and it was fun to pick the various B&B's where we'll be staying. Ross has been reading guide books and studying maps all year long. I was waiting until closer to the time of departure. Mistake. On closer examination I see that what I thought were elevations of 500 or 600 feet are really meters. A little different from the Stanley Park hike and UBC walks I've been leisurely doing. Now I am sitting in the boarding area and the families are boarding and we could be next.
