Location Takaroa is a small atoll of the archipelago of Tuamotu islands in French Polynesia. Located 570 kilometers north-east of Tahiti the capital island of French Polynesia, it counts a population of 674 people (as of December 2017). Takaroa has an unexpected cultural wealth mainly based on the beauty of its clear water and what it is providing to its population. The natural hospitality of the people is an asset appealing to visitors and tourists alike.
