WOW Richard & Sharon,
What a wonderful vacation/adventure the two of you are having. I really enjoy reading your blog and viewing your pictures, I am living vicariously through you. All I keep on thinking is someone has to do it; live life, explore, and enjoy. - April
Hi guys It looks like you guys are having a wonderful 3 1/2 month adventure, but what you don't have is tickets to see Arcade Fire AND Kaiser Chiefs (seperate shows)... I have to make myself feel better somehow as I stare at your beautiful pictures from my desk at work!! Anyway, despite our jealousy we miss you and we're glad you are having a wonderful time.
I told you Let us preface this entry by saying if you ever have an opportunity to vacation here -- take it!
Did you see the penguins of Doubtful Sound? Rarest in the world apparently, although we saw three standing in a row so I wasn't convinced - until we noticed that the nature guide was hyperventilating in excitement.
Mighty Chiang Mai Hey Richard and Sharon. Looks like you're having a very fine time. These photos bring it flooding back: we climbed all those steps, rang all the bells and still had to chase a toddler twixt naga and garuda.
Have you noticed, btw, that you are currently the number one Richard and Sharon in the whole wide webiverse? Google yourselves to see.
Chuffin' Elephants I think that you've only actually made it as far as Chester Zoo, one of those Elephants doesn't 'alf look familiar. Photoshopped the rest I reckon. Enjoy the trip and keep the reports coming!
It looks like you guys are having fun! Though I wasn't sure if Sharon came down with that food poisoning before or after your cooking glass... Don't forget my gold Buddha! Have fun in Laos.
In Chiang Mai Hi Kids
Just got back from Thailand and missing it badly. If you are still in Chiangmai, try to get up to Doi Suthep first thing in the morning, before them noisy tourists get there. You'll likely just have clouds, priests and a few curious dogs for company - very amospheric.
Keep it coming - Cheers, Noodle. PS we have a heatwave here in Tokyo, it's going to be up to 8C today :)
Sunscreen necessary... Hello Richard and Sharon
We certainly hope to accommodate your request to supply sunscreen when you arrive in Sydney. You can even have a dip in our pool!
