Abseiling Hello,
Glad to hear you are doing all the fantastic things I'm dreaming of.
I did my abseil (not as high as you but I wasn't in the last bit scared unlike some I could mention!) and it was terrific. Wish I had spent more time looking around - I will next time.
Guess what?
I've just done an amazing abseil down the Church Langley Water Tower!!!
It was great - but stupidly I did it really quickly so I didn't get a chance to have a really good look around from the top.
The funniest thing - there were many of us doing it (for charity) but they only had one pair of gloves so everytime someone descended they had to abseil the gloves back up! (I'm sure I've got that wrong but I dont know what the word is for abseiling upwards!)
Very busy with Ofsted (and we did really well in case you wondered)
Taking tea with my students at Down Hall (its a tough job but someone has to do it!) and then I spent two days on an archeological dig in Little Hallingbury with some other students.
Ian has only just gone back to Japan and as you can imagine we were all at sixes and sevens during his time with us.
Akiko is a very beautiful young woman - very tiny with perfect English.
They had a wonderful time in Scotland not so wonderful in Paris and an even better time in London.
Akiko loved the things we take for granted like - ice cream vans (yes really!) and red post boxes (in Japan you have to go to a post office - not just send letters through a box) and of course buses!
Hope all is well with you. I'd send a photo of me descending down the Tower but I dont know how to attach it to the mail in a yahoo account!!!

Hey! Still sounds great what you've been up to i wish could even say something exciting has happened to me! I would have found the zoo sad seeing Steve everywhere but their whole idea is fab. the photos look gorgeous!! love sim: )
Wow Rex, your blue thongs look really good on you!
lol on a more serious note..how cute is that koala! it's so cool the whole hands on approach to the zoo!!!
*hugs*
Reply to Tom the Pomme You are allowed to say the name of 'that play', just not on the stage. Yeah, somehow the Rememberance thing works including all that malarchy and Daylight Saving... Melbourne I think may have been my favourite city in Australia. The tall building was... er cant remember, but it was very snazzy. Holiday looked a laugh. And wow for me being the most important Rexxor in the world.
Blam Did you know if you type "Rexxor" into google, this is the first site that comes up? Excellence. Rex I fear you do too much stuff for your brain to remember, it may explode at any point. I vote you finish off my literature review and various other pieces of work I have blatantly forgotten about.....
Melbourne looks nice, what's the tall building in the photo? Also doesn't the leap year shindig etc break the hall of remembrance? And dude you're not meant to say the name of the Scottish Play!!! fool.
Time for an all nighter me thinks
You skipped Ramsay Street in favour of F1?! Pfft, madness! Which is only proven by your doing a skydive!
Lol, I love it when you're abroad and you laugh at something that non-Brits just totally don't get. We obviously rock *nods*
Man, actually going to see something at the Sydney Opera House was an awesome plan. And that Hall of Remembrance thing sounds amazing. Now I feel really lazy for spending the past few weeks lying in bed and watching TV :P
CONTINUE TO HAVE INSANE AMOUNTS OF FUN!! :D
(P.S. Stick a extra koala in your bag for me. And another one for Shing *huggles*)
o.O See, when I say I haven't been up to much, I mean that I've pretty much slept for about 12 hours a day, watched some TV, ate, failed at doing work, and thought about tidying, but actually just been tired out by the idea. Your 'not been up to a lot' involves boat trips, taking in spectacular scenery, travelling to various towns, visiting Museums, and running down a hill in a giant water-filled hamster ball *shakes head in disbelief* Madness.
On another note, THANK YOU FOR MY POSTCARD! *squishes*
Hope you're still have awesome amounts of fun :D Or fun amounts of awesome. Whatever...
*is confused* I could have sworn that I'd commented on this already...or maybe I just spoke to you online and was exclaiming how I would have been a tad worried at the possibility of my ankles snapping should I go through with the bungy jump...looks amazing though!
Pics awesome, as always.
*huggles*
