After leaving my family, I started couchsurfing my way south, making a stop in every state. The first one was Richmond, VA. My host was a cool (but quite busy) woman called Laura. I arrived at her place pretty late at night, and the following day I woke up late the first time in a long time, took the bus to the city and started walking around.
