MONA LISA
Hi Mark, You actually got to see the Mona Lisa. I say this because when I was there you couldn't get within 10ft of the painting. I could just see the top of the frame and said that was that! And just look at your picture, not a sole around. Perhaps if I ever get to go to Paris again I might spend a lot more time looking over the Louvre, and other places.

omg edinborough castle is exactly how i remember it! not bad memory for almost 20 years ago!!! and those light tunnels look amazing i woulda loved that!!! good to see your having a blast! did you go check out where Billy Conolley grew up?

Hi Mark, What a contrast from Japan. Lots of wide open spaces and it looks like your travelling with a great bunch of people. Horse riding - fantastic. Very isolated and didn't expect u to say the temperature was in the mid 30's. I thought it was continually cold up there. I'm glad to see you're having a great time.

Definately Go Sentosa!!
Hey Mel, Sentosa is definitely worth a look!! Between the beaches, the rides and the jungle/rainforest, as well as the Fort it's a full day and into the night for the "Songs Of The Sea" show. Haven't managed to see the places you mentioned though and we're off to Phuket tomorrow sorry. You will have to let me know what they're like. Speak soon.

Mauve is so not my colour!!
Mum, wasn't behind any of those windows.... our room had no windows and backed onto the construction site. It wasn't what you would call a high class establishment!! Certainly an eye-opener though.

The Start of that Adventure
The backpackers looks pretty quaint :) though at 11.30pm may have looked a bit different. What's wrong with mauve? By the way behind which window where u squeezed, because I think the door onto the balcony might get used for nonpaying customers. Joking of course. Moving forward, it looks like you've seen some lovely places already and by the sounds of things ready to see lots more.
