Wonderful! Mohna,
I've lived in both Yellowstone and India and I laughed out loud when I read the the comparison of the bison being like cows in India! You are so right! It never occured to me the similarity. Now I cannot get the image of bison casually lumbering down 5th Avenue in NY City, oblivious to the traffic and chaos.
Thanks for sharing your insights!
Vendors How about food stuff or fruit like in India? Do they sell it in the street? Does people eat in the street? In India some people says that vendors have the best tasting food. I have not tried it lately but we use to eat it in my school and college days.
Overjoyed Dear Mohna,
I am so proud that you were able to face your fear of heights near a ledge. After receiving numerous e-mails from you about your travels through the Pacific and North America, I am so happy for you. Not everyone has the gusto to pull off what you are doing. Your descriptions are vivid and your pictures magnificent. I hope that you continue to enjoy wherever you may travel. Should you go to Japan, I hope I can help you out with a few suggestions of what to do.
-your friend,
Ken
Living vicariously Mohna -- it sounds like you are having quite an adventure! Keep the stories coming...I am getting my fix for international travel from all of my friends...
Oh my gosh.. Mohna,
These pictures are great! Ever think about a career in photography?
I took a trip to Grand Canyon years ago and it is crazy cause I remember being terrified of bears and buffalos trying to get me in the car.. at least i know that things don't change! These pics are so cool...And you at least got to go to the bottom of the canyon! Did you take the helicopter ride over the Canyon as well?
I am so excited for you, you seem to be having a blast! Keep up the good work!
Elizabeth ..
It's taken some time, but I am finally running away! I am traveling around the US, Australia, New Zealand, and Ecuador. I'll try anything once if it doesn't kill me. . .
For those of you who are curious, Quo Vadimus is Latin for "where are we going?" and is a reference to the sitcom Sports Night (as recommended to me by my friend and pop culture guru Jordan). I thought it was an appropriate approach to this trip.
My domestic trips are sort of a trial for this blog . . . hopefully, I will improve my writing and photography skills as I go. ... full info
