Hang in there Hang in there my friend. This is all part of the experience and I'm sure you'll have alot of story's to tell as a result. I hope there is ALOT more than you are posting. I'm finding this very informative. Bythe way - bring me back a coke from India... ;-)
Your Adventure Hey Ian,
Just wanted to tell you that it is fascinating reading your blogs and brings back lots of memories from when my mom and I traveled there. Thanks for posting - it is highly entertaining. I hope that you find some peace as you travel into the Himalayas. I don't know if anyone gave you this food tip yet - but it helps to eat the yogurt with the spicy food - cools it down and helps the stomach too. Looking forward to the next post. I saw Stacey and Kennedy on Saturday and they are doing well but looking forward to you coming home. Laura
What a journey you are on I am reading with great interest. I read the fear and excitement in words and see the wanders in the landscape of your pictures. Always the adventurous one you where, I hope you find what you are seeking there, it must be strange to be so far from home, alone on your quest. Keep well
Play in The Band Sounds like you are having an interesting time. It's really good to hear you have not had any problems and you've been able to stay out of trouble. Why don't you dig down deep and pull out those band techniques and join the band in the village? Keep safe, and try some Indian food, KFC just won't be a good story in years to come. All the best.
Wonderul Ian: I am reading every entry with great interest. I wish I could be there, but it's great you can do it alone. I sense you getting stronger by the day.
Digestion Hey man,
Start writing that book as you go. We have it so good here, that is for sure. Your comments help me see India with the romantic ideas of being "poor but happy" in their proper place. Take care man, thinking of you as you travel.

hang in there... Looks like it's going to be a ruff ride for the first few days. Hang in there. Find the countryside smaller communities are often more relaxing, and until you get your bearings, perhaps a little higher end accommodation would help.
Slum Dog Hey!
You made it (in one piece)! You have internet access (in a place where people sleep on the streets)! These are all hurdles you already overcame. And hopefully, you won't have too many problems with digestion ;)
Get some sleep!
Manila That's what I felt like when I landed in Manila. Taxi driver got lots of money out of me. Money exchanger tried to take lots from me as well. Then just everywhere was scary.
