Saturday May 19th, we have all finally arrived at Green Valley Guest House in Entebbe. Brooke arrived first, but unfortunately her bag would not accompany her until 5 days later. We were all loving our surroundings, pleased at how lush the landscape was, and shocked by the humidity – even the pages of our notebooks were moist. Along with the humidity, we were surprised by the temperature. We were all excited to feel the African sun, but ended up in pants and rain jackets the whole time due to the rain. Because we had a full week in Entebbe, we decided to make a schedule and treat ourselves to some fun activities, as we knew we would be starting Leadership Community Placement (LCP) training the following week.
