Don't get lost in Japan - we need you here!
Hi Deb and Danny, as you near the end of your time in Japan I feel like I have been travelling with you from the comfort of our home. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely trip and the beautiful photos as well - you both look so well, happy and relaxed...... of course I am a little concerned as Danny is quite right - you could pass for Japanese judging by the gorgeous photo of you in kimono. So please make sure Danny keeps you very close to him and does not lose you or mistake another woman for you and come home with the wrong one - how long till he would notice?? We are all well - I am back at dancing and working hard to catch up on so much. Kids are all well and will be here soon for the week before Pesach so it will be good for us to have some time with them if a little busy and chaotic. Much love and travel home safely, Caryn and Sam

Day two sounds amazing but I needed my epipen at my side to read about all that fish! Are you getting lots of landscaping ideas? Will there be cherry blossom trees on your new garden? Much love Zoe

Don't miss out these in the Cotswolds as well!
Lower Slaughter is a lovely part of the Cotswolds but seeing as we're a wine merchant in Lechlade on Thames we thought you might want to add the following locations you won't want to miss: Southrop - a small village just north of Lechlade, with a wonderful foodie pub "The Swan at Southrop" Castle Combe - further south but not one to be missed, an absolutely stunning Cotswold Village with The Manor House Hotel nearby perfect for afternoon teas Kelmscott - a small, remote village East of Lechlade-on-Thames, William Morris called it "a heaven on Earth" Chedworth Villa - one of the largest Roman villas in England! Guiting Power - stunning Cotswold village with honey coloured stone cottages to die for..., definitely worth a visit, also pop into the Hollow Bottom pub too.

Sounds superb
I trust you are getting much inspiration for future interior decorating plans. And why stop at interior decorating - a dining for 130 PLUS a chamber orchestra seems like a great idea!

It all sounds beautiful. Shame about the weather, but I guess you didn't have to fight your way through crowds to see the monastery!

The Old Vicarage, Grantchester

Did you see any lilacs?
Aaaah, Grantchester.........brought back memories of a beautiful day there some years ago.....we also took tea with scones, jam and cream. The Church clock did not stand at ten to three - that is not the right time for tea you know!!!!! So lovely to be enjoying your trip from the warmth of our home in the coldness of Melbourne. The photo of Raph relaxing in the deckchair says it all.......OUr 20th anniversary service yesterday was a cracker.....house almost full, very loud and enthusiastic singers with all our musicians up there - Sam Osborn on drums after we had a ten minute "drumming for peace" welcome. Libby had pulled out a lot of the old melodies for the songs so it was a trip down musical memory lane as well. On the walls we had a lot of memorabilia. Lovely readings with special prayers for Israel, John Levi gave the most magnificent Dvar Torah wherein he wove the parsha, kedem's milestone and Israel using as the thread the ability for people and a people to change.......will get the text for the next Megillah. You were missed!!!!!! Kiddush of course was delicious - very fancy and fully catered after a huge debate. Now we are back to reality and planning Paula's Bat Mitzvah which is next week and then High Holyday planning in full swing. Hoping to get to the football today with footy buddy Jim Cyngler but at present it is cold and I am feeling a little flu-ey so I may be sensible and stay home,.......then again I may not.........Continue enjoying your travels. It will be a little different without your beautiful boy but it is so wonderful that he is looking so well and thriving in his environment. Much love and I look forward to the next instalment.

Lovely words
How nice to read your lovely words after the ugliness of the news and emails filled with despair at a world filled with hate and bigotry. To retreat into Enid Blyton territory for a while must be bliss. Thanks for sharing and please send love to Millie Molly Mandie in the second thatched roof cottage on the left! xxxxxxxxx

Message from MMM
Milly Molly Mandy sends her love too and hopes you are all jolly well in the Antipodes though she wonders if it mustn't be awfully tiring to be walking about upside down.
