Almost there!! We had aleady decided before we even left for Peru that we weren't going to do The Inca Trail because quite frankly, niether of us fancied forking out so much money to share it with 497 other people (us both and the, now, mandatory guide) when we could quite hapily go off trekking by ourselves and not put hand in pocket for a few days, nor see a single gringo. Thus we took the train, after a lovley day sampling local cuisine at the Urubamba market, to the last stop on the line, Aguas Calientesto stay the night and then the bus us from there.
