Kerri, Sarah and I, all decided to be mad and unfit english men and tackle a 13Km hike with an 800m ascent in a national park......Yes we were all very unfit and puffed our way up the slippery slopes (there were about 2000 muddy steps). On our way up you meet freindly soldiers protecting you with rifles from the Moaist terrorists and also lots of nepalese young men charging ahead of you with 33 kg's on their backs trying to get into the british Gurkha regiments....The view from the top was well worth our 4 hours of hiking though!! Luckily due to a bit of forward planning by me, our taxi driver came back and picked us up at 5pm, so I was back in time for a quick shower before meeting up with my Intrepid
