Hello My last posting didn't show so here goes again! With one day to go before we set off, I've been reading all about Rwanda and I'm getting excited about our project. Incidentally we don't appear on the map either! JK
Rwanda will rock Hey Rose and the team - the very best of luck to all of you on your adventure in Rwanda. It sounds like such a fascinating country to visit, and I'm sure that you'll successfully deliver the Cricket Without Boundaries message without too many 'tears and tantrums'....but let's hear about these too if they occur! Ha!
I'll be subscribing to the site and looking forward to reading about the trials and tribulations - if it's half as much of an adventure as our own recent trip to sunny Botswana you'll have a ball, I'm sure.
Incidentally, your challenges are thus:
1. To provide video evidence on this site of your whole team singing 'Jerusalem' at one of the schools that you visit in Rwanda
2. Submitting photo evidence of the teacher being trained by you guys, who possesses the most incongruous attire during your time there - we had Violet in Botswana who executed the perfect front-foot drive wearing a business suit and stilettos....
All the best
Mike G
Good Luck CWB Rwanda! Rose
Wishing you and the team good luck in Rwanda. Hope you have the same rewarding experiences and fun that we had in Botswana.
Cheers

Here we go! I've got my mossy net and Malarone and with a week to go I'm getttiong quite excited! having just started a new job this week I can't wait to get away for a break!
I am part of a group of 13 mad volunteers setting off for Rwanda on 6th November on behalf of the Cricket Without Boundaries charity. The Cricket Without Boundaries Trust was established in April 2005 by founder-trustees Andy Hobbs, Chris Kangis and Ed Williams. It is a registered charity in the UK, number 1111316, operating under the name of Cricket Without Boundaries ("CWB").
CWB has three main goals:
To spread cricket through coaching children and teaching adults how to coach; and
To link the sport to HIV/AIDS awareness and incorporate these messages into coaching sessions.
