Thanks Thanks, Tony, for the hard work you're doing. My son, Spc. Armand D., is at FOB Iskan. He's in 1-501st, A-CO. Perhaps you know him. I haven't heard from him since a couple of days before Christmas. Hopefully he'll get a chance to call home soon. If you do know him, please tell him his family in Louisiana sends their best.
Best to you, too, and all of our troops. Take care, stay safe, and God speed.
Nice Tree Sorry to hear about your friends.
I have figured out where you are.
I am going to drop a "tourist" map on a web site so that you can download it. I know you won't be able to visit Babylon but it will be nice to know where it is anyway. :)
Nice to see that sight on that SAW. I was afraid you would not be able to mount it on that pup.
I love you son and you are in my prayers constantly.
Be careful.
Dad

Potter - Address and Needed Items Peppered Flavor Beef Jerky is most coveted snack item around here. Other salty snacks that keep well (like trail mix) are great. We get more sweets and baked goods that we can eat, so we don't need any of those. Other than that, check my page on www.AnySoldier.com for more ideas. Thanks, and good to hear from you Potter.
By the Way, the address is posted in one of my earlier posts on this site and on anysoldier.com
Merry Christmas So happy to hear from you again. You are never off our minds and you are never out of our prayers. You are doing such a badly needed work for the Lord and you are a very brave soul to be doing so much to futher the knowledge of our Lord and Savior. You are a true inspiration to me as well. It has got to be devastating to lose any of your comrades. What a terrible thing to have to endure. I loved the pictures, evidence that you were just fine at that moment. All here send their love and prayers for your safe return and for your good work. Laura sent a picture of the girls. They are beautiful and so is she. I must call her this evening. This has got to be a very difficult time and lonely time for her. We love you Tony and are so proud of you. Grandma
Needed Items Tony and Friends:

I Know Eric He is in my company. He is a good man. You should be proud of your son. I'm proud to be his friend. Small world. I'll have to remember to tell him that I heard from you. God Bless you.
Mom of a soldier at Iskan Hi Tony- You might know my son Spc Eric B there (somewhere it said not to put whole names)... he emailed today and said that he led the worship there today (sunday)... so I hope you two know each other and can encourage one another! He loves to share the gospel with others as well. It is so encouraging to see other believers there- as a band of brothers. I have been praying for your safety and all the men at your base everyday though I have never met you. We are grateful for your service and your desire to serve God and country. We at home can never say thank-you enough. I wish you the best of Christmas there- and know you are all in our thoughts and prayers! Love, Eric's mom from Oregon :)
Thank you! If I were young enough to join you I would be kicking the Army doors down to help out! I thank you for protecting my freedom and if there is anything I could send in a Care package, please let me know. I served two tours in Vietnam and think I understand what you are up against. Even though you are Army, I saulute you with a big Semper Fi from the Marine Corps! lhomgren316@gmail.com
God Bless I came across your blog(s) and I just want to say thank you for everything you've done for our nation. Please be safe out there, and be back soon. I definitely be interested in knowing your progress there in Iraq (one of my fraternity brother was deployed and has been back from Iraq last year). Your experience in Iraq is one of the kind.
I will be visiting Puerto Rico in January, and I will make the trip as a tribute for y'all sacrifices. Take it easy, man. - Halef, Atlanta, GA.
Nice to see ... Those 12 gage shells on that table... Very nice. Makes me feel better. I know it isn't that simple, but both you and I know how I feel about shotguns. Keep one around please.
Dad
Thanks! I just wanted to say thanks for all You have done and will do for our country. My heart is with You and all the others. Please watch Your back (and the mud!, LOL)

Happy Thanksgiving I was much relieved to see the pictures of you and your 'home'. You are always on our minds and in our hearts and prayer. Your Dad and I were just talking yesterday afternoon, wondering when we would hear something from you again. I expect that it is quite a job to review all incoming and outgoing mail. Can you just imagine how difficult that had to have been during WWII. Believe it or not they read every letter and as evidence there would be holes in the letters where the censors had taken a razor and cut out sentences. I am so happy that you are continuing your Bible study and helping others to become citizens. It is strange how many people are trying so hard to become citizens of this country and have not even given any thought to where they will be citizens for eternity. It's all a matter of priorities I guess. Stay well and know that we love you and are so proud of you, and your family. Grandma
