I seem to be missing something ...
Could it be that my computer is playing tricks on me, or are there really only seven photos with this article? I'd love to see the other 37 ...

Lots to see!
That's an interesting article, Marty ... thanks for sharing your experiences with us. One can tell the difference between the first shots and later ones -- I can just imagine your horror at losing full use of your camera and lenses, but you did manage to get interesting shots of the bears. I can empathize with you about the lousy weather for photography: my wife and I recently travelled to Agawa Canyon north of Sault Ste Marie to shoot the Fall foliage, but it turned out to be a rainy and foggy day, and we ended up with nothing significant to show. Well, at least you got to see Mt (McKinley) Denali. Cheers!

Thanks, Fred. Good thing it wasn't about the photos. hehe. At least that's what I kept telling myself.

Sugar Birds

Sugar Birds
The Sugar Birds teamed up with the very talented Ari of Amen Photography for a little Valentine photo shoot! The set was decked out with treasures from Blessings in a Bucket . And ready to showcase some darling little loves! I can’t wait to see the magic Ari captured with her camera! I’ll post the proofs as soon as I have them in my hot little hands!

Saba Island

Saba Island
We welcome you to Saba, our Unspoiled Queen... The island of Saba rises majestically from her clear azure waters, stretching her summit to caress the clouds... She is like no other Caribbean destination. Untouched by the quickening pace of the modern world, an island caught within a moment. Before you leave her shores you will have experienced the true beauty and community of Saba, made new friends and, like many others before you, a return visit will be the only thing on your mind. So if you have a yearning for a different vacation, consider nothing less than Saba.

Radisson Bark

Trees
God photo. It is so hard in 2D to reproduce what we see in forests. This tree has open shape which you have captured well.

Eiffel Tower
Love this and many of your photos. I have nominated one for photo of the week. Keep an eye out for it. I am also interested in what type of camera you are using. Seems to have a great dynamic range. Cheers, Rob

Thanks so much, Rob. For the France trip I used the Sony A7R. The photo galleries on my website that are linked to the blog posts will have all of the EXIF listed at the bottom of each photo.
