Myself, Tushar and Dipaali started for Chandigarh on 10th June, by the 11:10 Jet airways , scheduled to reach Chandigarh airport by 1:10. Hired a cab for sight-seeing at Chandigarh, as we had a HRTC bus at 20:40 the same evening. It was a whopping 40°C in the capital of Punjab, and as against our expectation, there was no respite from the heat. After a make-do lunch, we first visited the rock garden, the ‘Nek Chand Rock garden’ to be precise, named after Mr. Nek Chand Saini whose novel creativity lead in the making of this garden, from building and industrial waste.
