Soul STirring Story Nick, that is a wonderful travelog on Cambodia. Doo you realize how blessed you are to have this time to see the world. I am so happy for you.
OK - not quite the same... This looks incredible! I'll have to concede that it might - just might - surpass the crazy fun of our kayaking adventure in the South Carolina marshes last summer. Ha! :) Your pictures are amazing and, as always, I am enjoying seeing the world through you!
Captain Tilley I get goose-bumps just thinking about Phase 11!! I am optimistic that my home will sell, and then you'll have your co-captain along with you soon to begin the trek through the jungles of SE Asia.

Fabulous Nick, thank you for sharing your fabulous photos....I especially am touched by the yellow ..."Live Strong"...on your wrist.....which is exactly what YOU are doing! We were so happy and honored that you were able to attend Chad and Lindsay's wedding.....What a magical night! Take care and enjoy life! Love, Cory's mama:)
New Posting Tilley, glad you finally had another posting. I was starting to wonder what happened to you. Keep it up. Pics look like you're still having a great time.
I love Your Blog Hi Nick...Welcome back....See you at the wedding....Have you flip flopped your body back to the states yet? Cory felt it more the second week. Have a good visit. It sounds like you have started out well. Take care..
Keep the Faith and Fun Going Thank you Nick for being there for our Cory during these trying times. Life is a journey and God is there for us during all the events.
The Hoots' Family truly appreciates all the prayers, love, and support. We wish you a safe trip home and look forward to seeing you. Flying has to be safer than bunging jumping!!!!! God was cetainly with you for that event.....Cory loved it! Take care and see you soon.
Cats vs Michigan! You have to come up for the game! Ashley has secured a parking pass in the West Lot...so tailgates are going to be ridiculous this year! We have also purchased new tailgate materials - a new flip cup table and Northwestern chairs. It won't be the same without you! Go Cats (and Cubs).
You're back! Good to see the posts back up. Coffee and beer remind of Paris and Munich, though I'm concerned your beer mug is not a full liter. I'll be back in Chicago for the Michigan game, though I'm going to a wedding the night of the game. You should definitely come up to Chicago. Chris Wright will also be in town for the game. We can make it a mini-pre-homecoming!
Captain Obvious... Brother - it took them this long to see that you are a NATURAL behind the bar? They don't know what they were missing! My challenge to you is to have your own original cocktail added to the official Nue Lounge list before you move on... if your history of Tilley family holiday bartending is any indication - it's practically a done deal!
Meltdown NEEDED in Missouri! Hey, Nick! Right now, the high temperatures in KC are reaching the upper 90s and are supposed to reach 100 this weekend--when I will be moving--so I would give anything for a meltdown in Missouri! Aside from having to work, which we all wish we didn't have to do, it sounds as though you and Cory are having a great time. Continue posting the fantastic updates--I enjoy reading about your incredible adventures! Take care!!! :)Linds
Woe is Nick Poor ol' Nicky poo has to work hard. Buck up son! Out in the real world we don't get to all schmooze with doctors all day. This of course coming from the consultant who lived in Paris for free for 7 months. You guys should just quit your "jobs" altogether and live off you savings until it's all gone and you're in 80K of debt. Use my life as the model. Sounds like you're having fun though. Quite the adventure. I've forwarded your blog to my friends and they're quite jealous. You guys have to stay out there until next summer (America summer that is) and then Bob and I'll come visit cause neither of us will have jobs then!
Working Vacation Hi Nick.....Don't forget to play sometime.....You make me laugh :)
I can tell you are really enjoying the people and having fun!
How's the mutton? Take care of your wing man Cory....
Cory says Fiji for your birthday! Not a bad birthday present.
Can't wait to see you guys and give you big hugs. Kathy
Wow What a great adventure Nick and Cory,
I have enjoyed reading the blog of your travels. Looks like you guys are having the time of your lives. I can't wait to read about all of your future plans. There seems to be one common thread through all of the blogs....Pubs and Beer!! Two things that are right up my alley.
Be Safe!
Rick
A Budding Author Nick you would have gotten an Att in my classroom...Your are one
good writer. I feel as though I am experiencing everything right along with you and Cory. I can't believe you are hanging out clothes? Happy trails to you....Take care of your wing man Cory.
Love you......Mrs. Hoots/Kathy/Cory's mama
Are those Transformers? Your place looks awesome... although what is on your bed spreads? From the pics... looks like cartoon characters wielding swords!
Its all happening. The Adventure is under way... Yes, its true- My friend Cory and I have quit our jobs, and have left the comfort and security of the US to embark on an adventure of global proportions. We left for New Zealand on June 17th, and one 24-hour trans-Pacific flight, a few cancelled bus trips, and 3 hostels later, we finally made it to our first destination- Queenstown, NZ, on the South Island in the the land of the Kiwis. Mountain biking, bungee jumping, jet boating, canyoneering, snow skiing, rock climbing- Queenstown has got it all, and claims to be the outdoor adventure spor... full info
