Think I've cracked it Picking up your travel thingy that is. Have only just managede to pick up the whole of your island hopping 'cos this silly machine kept flashing up somehing silly that I didn't understand and when I got rid of it it wouldn't let me connect. Not to be defeated though I tried different ways of doing it and voila here I am although I can't really remember how I got here. I actuallt found the instruction booklet the ither day, so perhaps when I've got more free time after christmas I might read it. Your pictures are stunning, you oiught to offer them {for a small sum of course} to travel companies, they look far more 'God I'd really love to go to that place' than the one's you see in the brochures. You had us all a little worried with the whole hurricaine bit, {I was at your mum's and dad's at the time} I could just imagine you hanging onto the heaviest object in the room listening to the crashing waves etc. scary! Poor thing. Hope you're enjoyimg NZ I've seen lots of pictures from friends who have been there and of course from Nial who absolutely loved it. That was where he did the pipeline bungee, he obviously didn't have his brain in working order that day or he would never have flung himself off the edge. Obviously he doesn't take after me in that respect, I wouldn't even have made it up there in the first place! So pleased to hear that you're back home for christmas, it wouldn't seem the same without you, so I guess thjat you'll have to say goodbye to all that lovely sunshine for a week and come and join us all in the cold and dark and possibly snowy or sleety place we call home. Don't forget to bring all those lovely photos with you. In the meantime have a great time take lots of care, all my love and hugs Lesleyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Misty sends all her licks too

Have fun and take care!
Nikki
Its raining! Its cold but I havent been chased by any ladyboys. Hi Naomi, sounds like a night out in O neils!!! honestly.... Im looking out the window, its lunch time and turning dark, raining and cold so Ive opened a bottle of champagne to toast your trip as my jealous streak is surfacing and alcohol calms me down.....! (only joking) Looks great though, how did you check out if they were genuine ladyboys?? Did you bump into Gary Glitter..I hear he likes to hang out round there!! Any way I look forward to your entry about the full moon party...lots of new friends who will 'lurve' you and want to tell you how fab you are all night (if you know what I mean!!!) Take care and love from everyone, till the next time x x x x rachelx
get me a plane to cambodia - now!!!! Hello chicken, don't know what has been going on with the emails at work but if this is the only way we can communicate, then so be it!
Wowee the photos look amazing. I'm pleased that you are having a better time now mrs independent. i am still missing you loads but I bet you dont want your adventure to end! I so wish I could just book a flight to meet you but short of selling my body I doubt that is likely and mum and dad would not be very impressed!
Love you lots mopear

remedy for nblack eyes cucumber ........ or don't be so active and use lots of bandages! Hi names, this is probably not going to work cos just as I thought I had got this thing sussed it wouldn't let me print anything after the title so I guess I did something wrong and had to start again, I'm obviously still in the learning curve thing. It wa\s lovely to hear from yhou and to see all the amazing photos and yes I would very much like to be there with you who wouldn't! I know what you mean about scooping up all the little kids and taking them home, how can they be so happy when they have nothing, your comments remind me of the ugandan children, all they want is for you to smile back and wave at them. Yes it does break your heart, but it also made me think that I wouldn't replace my friends for all the money in the world cos they're worth more. Right enough of this deep thought milarky onto more light matters. For example, I bet you now have a tan to die for, figuratively speaking of course, and are meeting lots of interesting and wonderful people B is obviously up for a man contest so I'll be interested to nsee the top five, any older ones by the way, I wouldn't want to be accused of cradle snatching! Did you know (Iexpect you do) but anka wat is the largest manmade temple on earth and you can see it from space and the whole thing is based on numbers! How cool is that. JUst a useless piece of information that I seem to store in the brain cells instead of more important stuff! I hope the cuddlies are using lots of sun tan lotion on their extremities ie ears so they don't burn! Actually I didn't have a clue who you were talking about and I was actually looking for people in the photo. Silly me! Well it's now another chapter in your travelblog and no doubt it is now time for a little bit of you time, lazing in the sun, listening to sound of the waves on the shore, drinking a long cool drink of something or other, chitchatting over a lunch of garlic prawns, and then forcing yourself to go out on the town until the early hours and having to do the same thing all over again! No I don't really envy you atall, I can just sit here watching the rain pour down all day, listening to the wind blowing all the leaves off the trees, turning the clock back so we're pitched into early evening gloom and sitting huddled in front of a radiator, why the hell would I want to be over there! Make the most of it my lovely, you've worked hard for it so enjoy it! Lookn forward to seeing some more fab photos, that is assuming I can pick them up, we'll see how good teacher your mum is! Take lots and lots and lots of care (here I go again) enjoy yourself, give the cuddlies a hug from me, and of course one for you too, love you loads lesley xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Misty sends her paw prints too!
that elusive monkey... ...hey pictures are ace and yep we'd all love to be there. Especially as you appear to be waring shorts and Tshirt while we're under umbrellas everyday!
Hallowean tonight...will wait and see if any oiks come to the door dressed in sheets and holding torches. They'll only get oranges from me. Are you affected by people in the midst of ramadam? Hope you get to experience the parties and feasts of eid. You haven't mentioned food - yet....is i t all yum or more grasshoppers and bugs?
Well deary see you soon

ps where is Chico?
It's official.......... ......she is a proper traveller. I never thought I'd see the day you wear Jesus creeper sandals!! It looks and sounds like you are having the time of your life. We are very happy for you and also growing more jealous by the day. The photos are fab......and actually very well taken. Did you have lessons from David Bailey? Not much has been happening here. You are going to miss J's BD bash. It's only a small do, I think she has kept it down to 1332 people! We are missing you and your potty mouth (only joking Mum and Dad da Silva). Can't wait to read your next entry, it's the only bit of excitment in my working day!!!(Apart from Barney). All my love, Becks xxx
hope u and chuckles are enjoying yourselves. it seems you are and everything looks beautiful out there. reading your journal has cheered us up as it is pouring buckets here today.love u lots ,take care, see u soon.love nanxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi! Hi Naomi it's Nikki. Just thought i'd add a quick comment to say that we miss you! I am more than impressed that you included Chico Cuddles and Bob on one of your pictuers. Remember what I said, just make sure you take a picture of Bob checking in next time you fly. Bob looks like the more sensible one! Have a great time, look after yourself and we shall see you when you get back!! Byeeeee!
dark nights as the clocks go back hi sweetie so good to speak to you on the phone the other day. it must be so much fun as you start the third leg of your fantastic journey. while your soaking up the sun and the sights over there we are turning back clocks in readiness for the cold dark nights - although have to say the weather has been really good to us at the moment.have just returned from seeing the new baby (carla) and little alba . they are such sweeties and alba is such a little character- she seems to have taken a shine to me as ive been smothered in kisses and hugs today.however dad has been christened by the baby after her last feed, serves him right for taking her away from me, we were having such a nice cuddle!!!!!! nan sends her love , she hasnt got your text yet! she says take care keep alert and she loves u loads.by the way the pictures are fantastic and have sold me on coming to thailand some time in the future.dad did a test run cycle to his new job this morning - an impressive 35 mins - not bad for an odly ( i think i mean oldy - no maybe odly was right first time!!!!!!!!)anyway hes a bit of a mover so to speak.maybe ill send u out a new sports bra for xmas before u do yourself a mischief.have a great time sunning on the beaches and boogeing in the clubs lots of love huggles and kisses ,thinking of you every day love mum and dad xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Are you going to come back a hippy?? Hi babes, wow looks like you are having a ball... Am abit worried about you getting up at dawn to watch the sunrise!! (although it looked great)..you ve only been gone 2 weeks and youre getting in touch with mother earth!! Floaty skirts dont go well with tattoos you know. Bankok sounds like my kind of place, we should have sent you some sample bottles over then you could of collected local drink from every place you stopped at.
Finished our first set of holiday courses which was really knackering, I spent most evening drunk on 2 glasses of wine due to no food stops during the day... It made up my mind that I want to spend time next year travelling...anything to get out of work eh?
Well I studied the photos carefully and so far no sign of talent. Nicky says that there are no nice looking guys in London...so here is your mission....to find out where the hansome men live (so that we might visit there some time!)Photo evidence only which must be posted on your site for all of us to judge...Are you up for the challenge?
Anyway offf to pack ...going to barcelona for few days so will log in at end of next week. Have fun and keep safe...love Rachel (BIG KISS X)
Dull desks and work 'v' Bankok Banging!! Hello Luvie! (NimsyPops!)
Wow, it looks like you are having the coolest time! Im so glad you went in the end... I did have my doubts, but well done you!! I am so jealous!! The travel log is a great idea, so make sure you keep in touch all the time...it takes the agonising dull pain from work away for just a while, so keep it coming! :0) Its good to see the Funky Chicken Dance is still No. 1 in the Bangkok charts. Om seems to have it off to a T!! just kidding! So..., met any nice men yet? I have just had Anup and Seckington ask how you are and they also mentioned just how fit you were too!! The desk and office just isnt the same without you here anymore :0( Barney says hi and ah ted! Mark is off skivving again, so no comment from him Im afraid. Becks has the day off too... so its just me on my tod again really... dull, dull, dull..! And my wine headache from last night is kicking in too!! I feel a Eat Tuna and Cheese Melt coming on!!! I still dont talk to Darren really... the wrong end of the department, is still pretty much worng! hee hee!! Miss our singing days too.. its soooo quiet in here now. We must of been louder than we thought! I cant sing on my own, I'd look like a nutter!! I am off for an interview at Prime Brokerage tmrw.. Bit scared about the whole thing, but its worth a look. The scariest thing was telling G-man! Ah well, it's all done now... bye bye bonus!! Things are going well with Pauly! Well, its still pretty much a rollercaoster, but he has got better on the old housework front! Im not pullng my hair out anymore.. and the best thing is, his friends moaned about how much he pays me, so he is upping his money.. hee hee!!! hello, Gucci sales here I come!! Lucy is getting pretty big.. I cant believe how fast it is all happening!! I want a baby!! You wont be back in time for my Birthday drinks booo... although I know where I would rather be.. by the way, what part of the world will you be on Friday 25th Nov??
There is no more gossip for you really, oh just one bit... Your replacement is coming on Monday.. he is internal, but Im not allowed to say who yet... will let you know on Monday.. But put this way, Zzzzzzzzz. Im so cruel!

Are your friends talking about the little travelling monkey I bought you? Or is there a secret traitor in tow!! :0) Xxxxxx
dark and dingy here Hi Neg,
Sounds fab...very jelous, especially as we turn clocks back this weekend - boo hoo. Back to that routine of getting up in the dark and coming home in the dark...what joy.
Glad you have settled in and making the most of all things Thailand has to offer...make sure you take loads of pics, want the whole slide show and popcorn event when you get back.
Take care...remember the monkey...xxx
the tatooed lady hi sweetie its great your having lots of fun and that you're finding company to have fun with we're very envious and wish we could be there with you.are the clubs up to par and do they play house music?..looking foward to seeing the photos. i started my new job today - lots of hard work!!!i'm sure i will find time for lots of cuppas.nan send her love and said to tell you she found her ring ( hidden in a safe place apparently)looking foward to your next bit of news.love and miss you loads.mum and dadxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The great Tattooed lady Hellooo! Fantastic to hear from you and I am already sooo jealous of your adventures!! It sounds amazing in Bangkok and I told you you would have no problems in meeting people once you arrived, sounds like you've been busy making friends all over the place! Can't wait to see your photos - make sure you include one of the giant sailor tattoo - heehee! ;o)
Things here have been relatively quiet in comparison to your week - I've been dashing about to job interviews and meetings with employment agencies, and I've been out a few times getting very drunk with my colleagues from the pub, but otherwise no excitement to report. Think I might just throw it all in and come and join you....now if I could just find some money from somewhere.....!
Anyway won't rabbit on for too long as its Monday morning at work, and as much as I'd like to skive off and dream about Bangkok, I am already being nagged to get on with some work - ho hum!
Take care and look forward to hearing your next installment! Claire xxxx (Kipper says hi too!)
Good start! Hi babes, sounds like you are having a fab time.
I bet you end up with a tattoo at some point, everyone I know has one after they have been travelling. Will post gossip after our courses this week as everything is abit mad getting ready for it. Loads of love Rachel x x x
Crazy days & sleepless nights Your Mum and Dad were here at the weekend and were sorting out my computer for me when they checked their e mail and up popped yours, so I thought I would check out my new found skills and write back to you, here's hoping. Sounds like you are having a fabulous time, what a good place to start your adventures, it brings back many happy nmemories. While you're there see if you can get to do the mini venice thing which I thought was wonderful all the gardens along the edge of the river bank are full nof half coconut shells in which they grow thousands of orchids, the women wash their children in the water, and all the market trading is done by boat, there are even ones with charcoals stoves on where they will sell you a hot meal! How they don't set fire to their boats is a mystery. If you can get to one of the temples there on a special service day, as long as you take a sari, you can make an offering to buddah and join in, the locals don't seem to mind atall and even gave us some of their own offerings so that we could join in. Glad to see you are making full use of the bargains out there, we of course didn't know how cheap everything was and bought our holiday gear before we went, which given the price of the stuff over there was a stupid thing to do. See if you can also get to see the flower markets, there is this one particular road where all the flower sellers go and as far as you can see the flowers are piled all along the roadside. When you go to Koh Sam hui (can't remember how you spell it) you must do the elephant trek through the jungle, just make sure your mahoot or whatever he's called doesn't disappear and leave you in full charge of an elephant when you've got no idea how to steer one! Well I haven't been anywhere elso so that's about the extent of my knowledge, no doubt you will run out of time to see everything 'cos there's just so much to see and do. By the way the sleepless nights is nothing to do with the maleria tablets it's just jet lag, 'cos you are nflying the other way round the world you get it when nyou arrive not when you get back like you do when travelling to america. It'll be a great help though when you fly onto new zealand though cos you are already half way there. You had me fooled, nand I think your mum and dad too about the sailor tattoo, I couldn't work out though whether you had actually had the descreet one done on your ankle? Thinking of you and hoping you're having a wonderful time, be careful (I know I sound like your Mum, but that's what Mum's do, give out needless bits of advice but feel better for having done so) hope this reaches you, love you Lesley xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
eeeehhhhhh moppeeerrrr!!! hello cheeky girl,
Miss you loads alreday, sounds like you are having a great time though....I'm jealous! every one has been asking how you are and I've told them that you already met a bloke on the plane before you had arrived! they were very impressed, as was I.
Im glad you were joking about the tatto!
have you eaten dog yet?
can' wait for the pictures to arrive. i want to mark the blokes out of 10.
