We arrived in Koh Phangan after a really long bus/boat journey. I took loads of travel sickness tablets so slept the whole time! We made the mistake of turning up at the full moon party without booking any accomodation in advance, so really struggled to find anywhere. We had to stay in a posh hotel the first night, then the night of the party we slept on a mattress on the floor in a room above a travel agents, along with 7 other men! There was only 7 mattresses and 9 of us, so some had to share. 4 of the lads were Irish though, so we had a good laugh.
