Training continues. Over my years of training for marathons, ultra marathons and the like, I can't say I ever celebrated or even acknowledged small gains and progress. Today it begins! Preparation for Nepal 2018 and Camino later 2018. This will be a little bit of a shock for some. All plans and dreams slowly came completely undone over a period of three months after breaking and dislocating my ankle late December 2015 whilst preparing to walk the Camino Frances. It seems that in my fall I injured my back. It was not until Easter 2016 that this became obvious, yet misdiagnosed for many months. God bless my wonderful Physio who just kept pushing for a better, clearer diagnosis and outcome. Push ahead to 10 days ago when the third spinal surgery seems to have given me back some of my diminished mobility. Then, let's talk about today!! Today training started.
