On my flight home to my tiny hometown of 2,500 from Los Angeles this week I had a revelation. It has been nearly a decade since I finished college and started my career and I vividly remember how difficult of a decision it was to accept the job offer because the dreaded word “travel” was included; even after accepting the offer I remember myself sitting on the edge of my hotel room folding wedding invitations while bawling and trying to decide if two months was long enough to put on my resume.
