Adverbs hey buddy - gotta watch those verbs/adverbs/nouns. i know you don't get to use english much now, but "on the eve of my department"? haha. thanks for referring to me; you know i love that. and the borat quote made me laugh out loud (good thing i wasn't reading at work! (for once))
All I can keep humming is "oh Tannenbaum" as I look at your little christmas tree. Your mom and I sent you off some treats yesterday and I tried to be a bit more vague on the customs form...keep your eye out for it. They said it would take about 8 business days.
Wow! That sounds so awesome! I love the pictures! Looks so Christmas-y! Your dream land! The whole monster thing sounds scary - I even got a twinge of nerves reading it! I know, that's just me! Once again, I sound like a broken record, but I am SOO happy that you are having such an amazing experience!
Good job on trying goulash - and eggs!
We pulled out the x-mas decorations today and set up out dickens village complete with snow! The only we'll see here I'm afraid!
xok
That was fun seeing you and Libor last night. I miss your purty face!!!! Kind did feel a bit American Pieish....That is what you were missing last night..apple pie!
you know we would totally break out in the hills are alive! At least Regina and I would - your mom would be too cool!!
So...no, it was just the 5 livis and lucy here yesterday all sitting by the phone waiting to hear from you!
Actually, Chase, noel and I did the turkey trot. A 2 mile (lots of looping) trot which I had Chase on my shoulders fro 1 mile of! Needless to say, I can barely move! So, David has headed off to RI and I am lame with a heating pad trying to make festive leftover dishes! Love the snow!!
xok
Haha I was going to call but figured you were busy. Were you parents, etc., in Virginia? I don't mind bothering everyone but I figured if your side was down there I wouldn't annoy you all
Happy Thanksgiving WILL MISS NOT SEEING YOU TODAY AND TALKING TURKEY WITH YOU. OOps. There thats better. Glad all is well but I haven't had time to catch up on your blogs so I'll do that over the weekend and reply as necessary. we begin the great turkey trek to the "MasterBaster" in about 30 min and Ann's having a fit I'm on the computer. Oh well. different priorities. Weidersehn.
So did you actually burst out singing or was it all in your head? I want a picture of you spreading your arms out while you dance in the mountains! The town sounds so beautiful at Christmas. And here in Irvington, Christmas started the day after Halloween! It's all Christmas music all the time! And I think I live in the right place, because the street lights are already decorated AND Santa is the minister at the church around the corner! So we're all over it! Good luck on your exam - for your answer about why you're there, just start singing!
I didn't realize Julie was going to visit! That will be great! Have her send a postcard to the kids! Take care - we'll think of you on Thanksgiving - try to keep your undies dry! xoxok
Wet Undies That was a nice image of your wet undies (and Libor's ;) but don't tell him I said that)! Just joking.... Anyway, I had to check with Rachel on the inside joke I was supposed to know - she explained it to me, so we're good now.
I got a good laugh out of the stuffed peppers, Matthew. I could picture all the little Italian grandmothers here in town fainting to learn that there was fish in the mixture. Ask your friend what else was in the mixture, unless you would rather not know. I'm curious if your Italian teacher knows anyone in town. Gives new meaning to the phrase "It's a small world."
The Kochmeisters I think all you Kochmeisters shoud send an email to Emeril for an episode on International cooking...........what handsome dudes you all are........anyway bless the French that he got the better of you and served you fish............ see just another way of experiencing the international life!!!!!!!!!!!! How did your Italian Prof know about Westerly????????? that would have been interesting....anyway one of my tennis buddies told me the other day her husband taught at your university in Graz...........they are both German and came here about 27 years ago when he took a professorship at the Coast Guard Academy so see..........how easy it is to connect when one travels.....love, Nanny
Haha no, I'd rather not get anything, why waste the money on me. I keep adding it because I keep finding things wrong with it. Somebody tells me one thing, but there's on little bit wrong with it, so then somebody tells me another thing and I correct one part but another part is wrong. I think that one is finally right. Plus, I forget if/when I've told you guys it, so it's pretty much just me turning into you with the whole "memory" thing.
