Greetings Tim This is good stuff mate, I'm very envious, definitely beats sitting in an office here in Sheffield. Cycling through the paddy fields and the mountains sounds wonderful. Glad you're not as lazy as I am and are therefore able to write loads and post some good pics. If you get a chance could you email me some of the TW lots email addresses, I've lost them..... :-( Reading this and spotting a comment from Lozza reminded me how long it's been since I've been in touch!
Why do people keep dying in internet cafe's? Fantasic, brilliant mate. Totally enjoyed reading it, made me chuckle a lot. Few things...
Has it changed much since we were there in '99?
Did you meet Kylie's Dad?
Why do people keep dying in internet cafe's?
I want a Chairman Mao Bed Head. Any chance?

Majorly Envious I'm reading four travel blogs of friends at the moment (yours is by far the most entertaining) and I'm starting to get very itchy feet.
Take care you two
Cheers Tony
Love the photos! Love hearing what you guys are up to! Love all the photos, esp. the Buddha’s! So jealous of the seven weeks on the beach, as I read that winter is the blowing the full effect outside & its cold! I'm getting really big now, only 8 weeks to go! Will update you on how it all go's!
Lots of love
Alice

Always Take The Weather With You Hi guys, nice blogging. The weather tale reminded me of Oirish Radio ".. and now fa the wet-her... Today to be sure it's rainy and sunny!". On the same station, "...be the turd caller to answer my question [and the prize - well there wasn't one, you just got to be the third caller]. Don't you love the Oirish (when you not English playing them in Dublin. Does anyone remember when they ripped out the seats and threw them on other Irishmen below them. I think it was '95).
Kylie keep an eye on Tim, nothing a Thai lady wouldn't like than an Englishman who's smaller than her.
Take care,
Alumni Man
(sort of like action man, but without the physique and the cool blue undies)
yes i want massage!! Hey there! very funny guys, thank you ...glad all is well with you both and you are retaining your sense of humour! it is a very usefull form of self preservation on the road. We are all well here and Maia (our little princess) is doing really well, now 8 months old!!! . We are still deciding on where we will be moving to in the fairly near future, Japan, NZ or even possibly Australia, depending on a few mitigating factors.
It is really hot and muggy here and funnily enough the forecasts have been for thunderstorms all week and they still havent arrived yet....
anyway , i gotta run, take care XXX Michael o
Vegetarian Cheese Great blog buddy. You have the amazing ability to do nothing but still write a really enjoyable peice about it. Fantastic. But come on mate, what happen to the days when you'd chomp down a deep fried lizard and wash it down with some Sang Song. Now your concerned that the cheese in Thailand might not be vegetarian!!! Actually it was me you ate the lizard and if I remember it right it was bloody horrible.
ingerland lucky you missing half the england game, it's a pain as usual being an england fan, lots of expectation and nervewracking results! youre blog is ace, lovely to hear about your travels, have subscribed so keep me up to date

fried lettuce wow, isnt lettuce toxic when you heat it up....hahaha, that was funny... healthy? i just over quoted (by a large amount) a cost for a trip to Thailand for some dodgy geezer who had the gall to ask me where the red light areas were in Bangkok!! needless to say i didnt know anyway but i said "you are disgusting please leave" eeewwwww
Kia Ora & welcome to our blog;
It may look like we've given up on the travels, but there will be more.... one day.
Left the UK in the mid 1990's with plans for a year or so of exploring. Finally made it home again eleven years later, only to set off again soon after. Got lost along the way with a couple of years travelling in Asia, a year living, working & travelling to all corners of Australia & the rest travelling & later living & getting married in New Zealand.
Highlights in no particular order include; Syria (x2) , Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Nicaragua, China (x2), Burma (x3), Viet... full info
