Memories....
hmmm......the pictures that you have posted were more awesome than i thot it would be...These pictures has thrown me to my past.....I had been a student once in kurseong and i lived there for almost 7 years, but still i remember each and every place.....the streets the Schools, the woods all are my favorite....i have been looking for a chance to get back to them for a holiday....its almost like the song "holiday" of Scorpions..... Let me take you far away You’d like a holiday Let me take you far away You’d like a holiday Exchange the cold days for the sun A good time and fun Let me take you far away You’d like a holiday Let me take you far away You’d like a holiday Let me take you far away You’d like a holiday Exchange your troubles for some love Wherever you are Let me take you far away You’d like a holiday Longing for the sun you will come To the island without name Longing for the sun be welcome On the island many miles away from home Be welcome on the island without name Longing for the sun you will come To the island many miles away from home..... it feels great...I will be back there someday..Maybe with my beloved girlfriend or my children or my grandsons...But i will be back....

Good to know
Its good to know that you were back in the hills with memories and moments taht have lasted in your heart forerver.. By the way I forgot to introdue myself, I'm Kewong Yonzon born and bought up in Kurseyoung(Curse-Young) as thay say now... I always wanted to make a change to the world I was bron in (I still do).. I did various things worked with my friends to give the people of Kuresong what they deserve in a tender age... Me and my friends worked nard to organize musical programs for all the students, despite objection from the Government...We collected a small amount as the tickets were just for RS20 and planned to donate it to an institution, ew had future plans ps doing various other things as well.. We were working hard to reopen HelpAgeIndia. As they say life has its own ways, and that came true..All of us had to follow our own goals, so to say forced to go on.. The Agitation, Unemployment, the Justice,Opprtunities seemed so few... I was forced to work in Calcutta in a BPO and I am still doing the same.. I went back home in 2009 but everything had changed, those cheerful people for whom we had though to make a differance had all gone grown in power, changed with new thoughts and ambitions which I wonder will ever cone true???? I would reauest you to help a cause to make a differne... Lets work to restore what has been lost..Im planning to go back home, despite the fact that I will be unemployed... I want to make a differance I dont know how.. I am not pre-planning things this time as they din't work out the last time... So do prey for me and my endeavours.. And if you would like to make a differance as well, please feel free to mail me at feelfreelike_kewong@yahoo.com. Ending my commment so to say request for this time.. And its good to know again that Kurseong holds a special place globally.. I will atleast start of with planting White Orchids.. What willl you do????/

Meryl....you MISSED your calling...
Go Girl.....you ARE a WRITER.......you MUST write....this is your CALLING. I have so enjoyed your blog.....and I have always wanted to go to India.....one of the few places on my wish list. How about doing micro credit loans in this tea region. Are there CBO's Communtiy Based Women's Groups....village banking groups. If so you have a FIT. Do check out our web site h3o.org when you have a chance. I am so excited for you, your Mum and Graham. I was in England snowed in for three weeks......and snowed in now in Charlotte....but it is GOOD as I am able to focus on shit i avoided. John Batten and h3o have done 97 loans with 100% success repayment. We are now looking to move to Phase 11...community infrastructure projects that are sustainable, for profit, short lead time to profitability, ripple effect in teh economy of the community. It is a LOAN.....with stakeholder contribution....somethimes locall goverment. It would be so cool if you wanted to do that in a section of India. One of h3o team is from India....Jose Xavier....seee him on our web site. Lot is going on.....and I just had to say this.....how about JB, JM and MD partering for the HIGHER GOOD????? Love you lots.....thanks so much for including me on this amazing, extraordinary JOURNEY ....reconnnecting with your past. Jaxxs

Your amazing journey
As with the e-mail I sent, again sorry for not replying sooner and needing a prompt, but in weak defence you know I dont think of looking at facebook/bloggs unless promted. What an incredible journey you're having although I dont know if I could be as hardy as you, being rather nesh I'd want me 4* comfort and en suite. Your travels with Prem and her childhood memories were so descriptive and emotional it made it feel as if I was seeing it with you. By the way I'm assuming from your last blogg Prem has left you and G to your travels and is now home happy with her memories re awaken. Cant wait to see your next blogg and promise to be more diligent in looking it up, You and G carry on enjoying your amazing adventure, you'll be pleased to know I'm suitable envious, take care of yourselves Love Simon

Merry Christmas !!
Hi you two and a very merry Christmas to you both. Been reading your blog, very interesting to see what you are up to . Think I'll try same myself when I leave for Germany next week .... altho all airports in Europe seem to be closed at the mo ! Am in a leg brace now ... oh what fun, but still determined to hop over to Europe for the 3 weeks .... ha ha ... pun intended ! As you can see crutches, leg braces, anti inflamatories and painkillers that are far too strong for me and keep me flying high all day will never dampen my sense of humour. The renovations chez moi continue and seem to continue also to mount up .... been shifting soil this morning .... cant manage a wheel barrow, so 50 trips with 2 buckets is sure to keep me fit .... ha ha .... keep smiling ..... I know you'll be very empathetic when it comes to reno stories ! Anyway kiddies ... keep travelling, keep writing and keep safe ! Love to you both, Carole

We Miss You
Hi Meryl We miss you already. Trish was so surprised to win the CEO's award, still doesn't think she deserves it, that's our Trish. We only lost 1% of the VRS contract so we are still going strong. I expect to see heaps of pictures and the start of a travel book when you get back. Take care Meryl. Vicki
