Hello holiday makers
looks like you had a lovely time - and no expense spared!!
Helena Bay looks lovely - nice to reflect on the old winding roads lined with Tea Trees reminding you of the old days.
Where is this forecast rain - veggies are struggling??
see you soon Leigh
fir cones are good for lighting the fire too. This year I've been collecting leaves to spray and give as presents, maybe in a jar, if I can find any suitable. Also, soaked some in linseed oil, they look lovely, shiny too.
I'm surprised you didn't get a costume. It all looked very spooky and skeletal. A girl I work with did a concert last night in a skeleton costume - she drove all the way to Worcester in it to perform. I hope she didn't break down and need rescuing!!!!!!
:) Very interesting about William Hearn! I read about the cemetery in the Leader. I thought it was crazy that the council was allowed to subdivide land off for industrial developments where people had been buried!! AND... demolishing headstones and using them to build the onerahi foreshore wall!!! Just crazy! im glad they are restoring it now. sounds like it was a nice ceremony :D
The lamb looks like the only black one! and Anita abviously did a good job of training because it is doing what its told!! Any prizes for the best lamb?? Robyn
Boats
well ....
I used my new telephoto lens but have no idea what the "cheese" is !! Could it be the sun ? or the moon ? Any more ideas ? (no prizes for the best answer!!). There were supposed to be more photos on this blog before it got published but I got distracted!!
The bricks .. are dried in a kiln nowadays. I don't know if they were in the "old days"!! The reserve is about 4km from the museum - are you thinking of visiting???????
what a day lots to look at and try out. I don't reckon that brick was bad - give it a chance to dry out. Did they use a kiln, or trust to the sun?. Is the reserve near the museum?
