When it came to think about my holiday destination for the summer of 2008, I had many different possibilities before me, but, since my Italian and Irish friends deserted me as they do almost every year, and given the fact that I have a great passion for Irish folklore, traditional music and dance, the choice fell on the Willie Clancy summer school, which takes place every year in July for a whole week in Miltown Malbay, County Clare.
