It still looks amazing, even if it's misty. You look surprisingly pretty for someone whos been trekking for 4 days through mud and high altitude! Come back soon
xx
Postcard Hola! Got your postcard today - thank you! When you wrote it you were looking forward to the Machu Picchu and now you've seen it, I hope it lived up to your expectations. Your experience at the Sun Gate sounds a bit like your first experience with your stethoscope - except you couldn't see a thing rather than hear a thing ;-)
Anna and I had a great time in Seville and Cadiz. Hopefully she'll put a few pictures up on Facebook so watch this space... xxx
Just sounds amazing! I'm not suprised the President asked you to dance. Although when I read it the first time, I thought he asked you to a 'beer drowning' competition - which I wasn't impressed with, sacrificing girls went out of fashion ages in the 1500s.
Love how you try to sweet-talk your way out of having to read the whole blog entry! That´s exciting about the jury duty! Hope it doesn´t get in the way of your Spain trip though! Hope you danced for me at the party! ¡Hasta pronto!

WOW Sorry but have not been keeping up till now !, you look as if you are having an amazing time but still have an eye for a good font for your dad. There might be a fault in your camera , the blue's are too blue and the smile are too big. Love Liam and Jenny
This comment is just to let you know that I still check out your blog. Though I must confess your entries have got pretty long so I've taken to reading the first few lines and then just looking at the pictures...! You're still looking unfeasibly gorgeous. Guess what - I'm going on jury service soon! Thought of you every time an MJ song came on at Alex's party at the weekend xxx
Sorry hun! Would have loved to help you! I am actually in a Spanish school right now - just did the test and they've offered me private lessons. Don,t know yet whether I{ll do them cos it{ll take up my whole afternoon.
Have always wanted to go to Sevilla - make sure you see some flamenco and take photos!
Hair and hols Maeve your hair looks great in that no eyes photo! I got my highlights redone today. And Anna and I are going to Seville for a week at the beginning of next month. Why are you on the other side of the world when I need to learn spanish?! xx
Hey Maeve! Glad to see that you're having fun on elective! Ian and I have gotten used to having cold showers - can't remember the last time I had a warm one! Your ward sounds quite similar to the ones here in Tanzania, though we quite often have patients on the floor as well, and about 20 medical students on one ward round!
Love, Vas x
Ah, the joys of cold showers I know that feeling only too well - the moment of horror when the freezing water hits you but it's too late to do anything about it...
The little girl sounds adorable and the hospital sounds like one of those ones from an old war film - you gotta upload photos soon! (Are you allowed to take photos in the hospital?!)
I got my own (little) taste of Latin America today - had to go to the Brazilian Consulate for work to pick up passports for two people going to Brazil next week (unfortunately neither of them me) and was surrounded by people chattering away in Portuguese. Thought of you.
Oh, and in other news - Mon passed her exams! Yay! She's off to Canada tomorrow.

Last night I met one of my sister's friends who has just got back from 3 years in Peru - coincidence or what?! You'll be pleased to know she said it was very nice.
Sure you're loving it already. Look forward to the next update.
Shanaz
xx
PS - you're never too far away - I only have to look at my phone and there you are ;-)
