Well written, Molly. You wrote a very eloquent and sincere summary of your time in Paris, Molly. I sincerely hope that this IS a life changing experience for you and Raymond... and I bet your folks learned a thing or two as well. Thanks for "inviting" me on your trip by sharing your photos and thoughts in this blog. I have enjoyed reading it when I could. I am sure as much as you will miss Paris, you will be glad to be back in the USA. So... where to next???
A safe trip back to Les Etats Unis!
Great finale! Hey Molly-
Loved your final remarks on your trip. I'm so happy for you to have had such a phenomenal experience and that it has inspired you!
Can't wait to see you and hear more about it!
Enfin! Finally! I was getting worried about you three. Sacre Coeur! My favori! Did you buy any paintings? I loved walking around behind SC, lots of artists. I always bought paintings here. You had to bargain with them, but I liked doing that.
D'accord, you will be home soon. Maureen, don't forget to send me the info on your flight!!!
Molly, I love la photo noire et blanche. Tres jolie. Raymond, your pics are tres interessantes!!!
Glad you are having fun. Enjoy your last few days in the City of Lights!
Sue
L.O.V.E. the dress Molly. Shopping, what could be better - I am sure that Molly was in heaven!! Aunt Maureen, you look great and are taking the best pics for the blog (Molly looks like a model!)!! Looking forward to Raymond's entry to see how the boys spent their time!!
Les francaises sont-elles sales??? OK... I think you have established once and for all the notion that the French (or Eurpoeans in general) have a thing against "bains" et "savon." I remember thinking the same thing when I was in Germany many years ago. Maybe it's just that we here in the USA are overly clean? (Thank Goodness, eh?) Wonderful pictures. All of you look like you are having the time of your lives. Merveilleux!!!
tres belle Molly, your robe is tres belle. It is perfect for the wedding! I am curious to where the men went today!
Remember the Tour de France ends on the Champs Elysee on Sunday. I wondered if you will be there to see Lance Armstrong come in 3rd.
Enjoy the weather there since this week it has been rainy here. It is the 2nd coolest July on record.
I hope you had fun a la plage!
Love,
Sue
Hi. I have missed all of you! I was glad to see you a la plage! I know there are several of them. The French are so inventive, I love it. Plus, it doesn't cost anything, right? Except if you want something to eat.
I am glad your dad arrived safe and sound. He lost his passport???!!! Naughty, naughty! LOL
Continue to have fun. Time is flying!
Love,
Sue
Fun in the Sun!!! Looks like so much fun - rain, rain go away!! Your blog updates are great, I love seeing everything that you are doing - such an amazing experience, especially for Molly and Raymes. I can't wait to see you all when you get back to town - we will HAVE to go to Doozies!!
Love the beach! Glad you guys had some down time to just relax and enjoy, while taking some people watching! Can't wait to hear more about the glacier treat.
Love it!! I love reading up on all of your travels and adventures, looks like you are having loads of fun. The pictures are great! Hope you are all having a great time....it certainly looks like it! Love, Marie
Tres chic! Looking professional there, Molly! Raymes you must have been bored all day??? Louee misses you and so do I!! Can I keep Louee and give you Jazzy???????????
Cool Hi, all.
You are really doing some neat projects. I don't blame you, Raymond, for not joining in. Raymond, did you see Efron's new do? He cut his hair. I like it. It is brushed back from his forehead. He looks hot. But I thought he looked hot no matter what. Just like you!!!
Yes, Molly. Are you ready to do some designing?
Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy.
Love,
Sue
Molly-- are these experiences making you interested in apparel design or sewing? Looks like you are right there with the students learning as they go along. That's great!
Where are the pics on Picassa? I missed them or something??? Kitty is good but she is trying to be bffs w/ Misty and but Misty is terrified! It is hilarious. I actually think that Misty loves the chase and is just playing hard to get.
Looks like you guys are continuing to have a blast!!! It has gone fast, hasn't it? Wow. But what an adventure! Life will never be the same after this! Thank your MOM for this adventure! Bye
Great! I looked at the pics on Picassa. It was fun seeing the process of the projects you worked on.
Molly and Raymond, you don't look like tourists at all. Both of you look tres chic in all the pictures. I want to see your scarves. Hey, Raymes, you could really impress a girl by making a scarf for her! Molly, no one will have a scarf like yours. It is one of a kind.
I also bonded with Brittany and Sara(h)!!! There is just something about them. I guess they remind me of 2 students of mine. Tell Brittany in one pic she had a black and white shirt/dress on. So adorable! Sarah had really cool glasses.
All look like they are having fun. Make sure you use these students as advertisment for your next trip. Get the Mt. P. paper to do an article, as well as CMU. I think this trip is different. I am always waiting for the next installment.
Continuez showing and writing about your jours et soirs!
Au revoir.
Love,
Sue
That's gettin' around... la vitesse! Hey... Y'all sure are on the move! Terrific whirlwind adventures, n'est ce pas? Holland looks way cool.
I was intrigued with the paper dress pic. I remember my sister having one back in the late 60's. Little did anyone know such a thing would end up in a "musee." I am enjoying your blog. Tres interessant!
Vous etes fatigues! Hi! I remember going to Switzerland for the day when I was in college. I remember I was so sick with a cold, but I was determined I was going to see the Alps! Ah, to be young again!
I understand completely how tired you must be. You can always play catch up on the blog. I will be triste, but I know how fatigued you had to be after going to Holland and back.
Ok. I hope you are all asleep now. It is a little after midnigh here. I hope you get to sleep in.
Love,
Sue
Dad's getting ready! Your Dad has returned home and is packing for the trip. He's REALLY excited! Be easy on him that first day as you remember the long trip. (And he's a LOT older than you!) These are GREAT pictures, but I'd love to see more! Just think, when I was in Paris there was no such thing as blogs, internet, cell phones, aaah! How did Aunt Karen and I survive!
Loving it! You are learning such cool stuff! I hope you bring it all home. You need to WRITE MORE---like how was the party last night?????? How long are the classes everyday? How do you get to the campus???? More info, s'il te plait!!!! Louee is good!
Interesting I went back to read my notes. I made some mistakes. Sorry.
I want to see some of the finished scarves!!!! It looks like your students are very serious! That is bon, n'est-ce pas?
I see that it is 6:30 p.m. I wonder if you are going out tonight. I meant to tell you that on the Champs Elysees there is a cafe, Le Fouquet. Sometime watch for the sandwich "croque monsieur." It is so merveilleur! One of the first things I did when I arrived in Paris was to go to Fouquet's and order one. It is a ham sandwich, but the cheese is mouth-watering. Can't make them here in the US. I have tried. It has to be the bread. Anyway, try one! Cheap lunch!
Later, Gators!
Sue
Monet et al... Hey Maureen, Molly and Raymond... I am impressed with your blog and all of your pics and posts. Such a wonderful trip -- and you still have a couple of weeks to go! What an experience and education for you. The photos of the gardens are beautiful. You all look like you are having a fantastic time. Now that I have the link to your blog, I can check on you and your adventures! Your Sunday sure beat mine! I thought I was happening when I got a deal on a new salad spinner. OMG... or as the Frenchies would say, Oh Mon Dieu!
