SIHANOUKVILLE - April 1 - 8 The 4.5 hour bus ride to Sihanoukville was pretty uneventful. Got there around 5pm so of course the guesthouses on Serendipity Beach that we checked out were full. We stayed at one place just for the night then moved to Monkey Republic Guesthouse which wasn't too far a walk to the beach. Actually the bungalow was pretty decent for the price ($6): 2 bed, fan, bathroom, porch. The first day we hit the beach. The water was kinda gross cause it wasn't really refreshing but felt like taking a bath in warm water. Serendipity beach is packed with tourists, beggars, woman selling anything from massage, fruit, lobster, sarongs, as well as kids pestering beachgoers to buy bracelets, paintings, and fruit.
